Go John Bruton! He was right on the money on the question of ever closer union.

European citizens are sick and tired of the UK trying to be the special member all the time, imperialistic as always...Please, British people, VOTE LEAVE! LEAVE once and for all and don't come back... **gets popcorn ready for the circus that will unfold when French open the flood gates at Calais**

The reaction @ 56:52 exposes the ignorance of some in the group. If they're unable to hold an opinion that correlates with reality, on a subject so easily investigated, they're not to be trusted on anything else. How are these people holding highly paid jobs? Absolutely baffling.

Are you a champion in European Law? No, wait, you wanted to argue that the Gender Pay Gap does not exist. If there's anything that a working woman in IT or law or business really wants, is to re-argue the gender pay gap with every 16 year old smarmy arsewipe with zero real world experience that thinks all women are either stay at home mommies or kindergarteners. Don't answer: just fuck off.

none of these chattering politicians are aware of the mood of the people in their countries the movement for Leaving the EU is growing more and more if the UK leaves the Domino effect will lead to EU member states leaving.

+logical fruit Absolutely not, it will come down to the outcome of Brexit in the longer run. If Uk goes to shit noone will want to follow.

+logical fruit It is quite certain it will be very bad for the UK. Signing a trade agreement takes years.. What will UK do in those years?

Jimiie That is a very good question, the first two years under article 50 will keep everything the same, and allow the UK to agree trade agreements with the EU and allow for a happy Brexit, so in this time the EU zone will fall over itself to make trade agreements as The UK, as the UK is the largest trading area for the EU in other words we buy more goods from the EU in the UK than anyone else, The UK runs a £3bn trade deficit with the EU! let me put this in clearer political terms the UK is the biggest foreign market for German cars, the German car manufacturers will demand a trade agreement from Merkel also Wine manufacturers in France or the textile industry in Italy. You see the UK loves Europe we consume it more than anyone else, when we have free time we all want to go to holiday in Europe but we do not want the EU with its commission and its parliament it is undemocratic and badly run and it is dragging the continent down :( so we want to leave and hopefully everyone else will follow and Europe will be a collection strong trading independent sovereign nations without a currency that does not work, Brexit is good for Britain and in the end for Europe too :)

logical fruit I don't agree. Everything about the EU and future agreements is based on speculations. But it is very unluckly to be true. EU GDP is 14 trillion euro, with UK economy. Without UK it is around 11.8 trillion euro. EU is far more resourceful and flexible than the British economy. Remember, all those statements about trades are from Britians perspective. Other EU countries have their own perspectives. Once UK hurts these EU countries they have the right to choose their own reactions to UK as well. They will come with their own reactions that will hurt UK even more. Pull out investments from the UK. Pull out all the financial systems from London. The UK needs EU to survive more than the EU needs UK. almost 50-60% of UK's GDP/trade depends on the EU.. how do you think the UK will ever survive this. Germany's main export market is the EU not Brittian. UK is a part of it. Don't be fooled the EU evolves around UK because it does not. Thrid thing, the rest of 40-50% of UK's deal are with non -EU countries. How will the UK make trade agreements with each world country on its own in the 2 years time? How? It takes 4-5 years to create one and it will be undoubtedly not better than the ones through the EU. It is just a total collapse of the UK economy. No one will leave the EU except the UK. There are far more small countries than larger in the EU. Almost all EU countries and especially weaker and poorer countries need the EU. Your queen isn't elected. Members of the House of Lords are not elected. Members of the commisions are people that are appointed by elected goverments. Sorry, but it is just fairy tale that the EU will solve anything, because it id hard to believe. In the long term, I doubt the Brexit will help the UK in anyway. You'll still have to trade with the EU, so what really changes? Just putting out my opinion :)
