The DS from the begining is DSi XL. in Japan they don't use XL but instead use LL to denote a size bigger than L, it's everywhere even on clothes.

Do you want to sell that Pokemon silver, I want to fix it. It looks like a challenge lol
@williamgregory5843 Жыл бұрын
HOW DOES THAT EVEN WORK STILL.
@stompertv2392 Жыл бұрын
@@williamgregory5843 Haha right? I didn't expect it to work at all. All the games that showed up were a surprise so I might do a video on fixing them. I think besides Silver only 150-1 worked so if I have issues with the others I could send them on your way to take a look at!

you don't NEED to change the power supply for japanese consoles, they will handle american power just fine.

Still watching the video but Here in the USA that would be called A Nintendo DSi XL ( DSi came out around 2009 if I remember correctly a couple years after the original DS and DS Lite came out and had internet capabilities like the Wii ) and The 3ds line of consoles first lauch 2011 and is completely different , Enjoying the video so far

Thanks for the info! The LL really threw me off. Also I didn't know about the internet capabilities, I had to pull out my original DS to remember it was before everything was connected to the internet lol. Thanks for watching!

Watching you open some of these I got the vibe you bought this off some kind of japanese serial killer who was in need of rent so he sold his trophies. Nice.

What japanese site did you go to get these gems and broken consoles?? Cause I would def love to buy me some to fix up and mod lol
@stompertv2392 Жыл бұрын
I used Sendico for this box but there are tons of other proxy sites that will act as a middle man for you. Sendico is pretty good if your gonna bulk ship but if you look around there are a lot of options and it usually comes down to where your located because shipping is the biggest charge

I'm living in japan. You can visit places like Hard-off (legitimately the name) and find junk piles of old consoles and cables. Pretty good treasure trove if you're into fixing up broken things. Japanese usually take care of a lot of their stuff very nicely, at least some of the older generation.

@@PatrioticAnarchist nice. That I did know a bit. One of the reasons I'd love to do if I ever get to travel to Japan would be to collect vintage and old tech.

To be honest I wish I was more consistent with it. I have a good amount of content to work with after this box so I will defiantly be posting more soon!
