I think the author mainly meant ROI 61% not as, you’d get $161 if you invest a $100 but more so you’d get back $61 for every $100 that you spent. Since most cases based on probability statistics should end in a loss. The Recoil case offers the least possible chance of a loss and not the maximum profit. To sort of test these figures you could just see how much your opening was worth, and how much you spent.

It might still be the best case profit wise, the odds of getting a certain quality of skins is the same for all cases, it is the price of the cases and skins that defines a "good" case. None of them are good though because you lose money in the long run regardless if you only open cases.
