Welcome to our Derium's Pokemon TCG channel!
Here you will find us opening all sorts of Pokemon TCG product. You can find things like:
1,000 Pokemon TCG Pack Openings: We open 1,000 booster packs in one video! We will have a few of us rip through the booster packs at the same time. Each video will be between 1 and hours long.
Pokemon Booster Box Openings: We open all 36 booster packs in one video. We will not chop them up into parts. Each video will take around 20 minutes. We normally skip a lot of the common Pokemon cards to save time, since repeats happen after just a few booster packs.
Product Openings: We normally don't just open one, we open a lot. For example we opened 25 Keldeo Mythical Collections in one video! We love unboxing Pokemon cards, so we go all out with it.
Pokemon News/Information: We like to bring you news about what's going on in the world of Pokemon. Including news on things like how to tell a Shadowless Pokemon card from a non-Shadowless. Or how to double sleeve your Pokemon cards for better protection.
Giveaways: We open so much Pokemon TCG product, why not give some back? This includes things like tons of Pokemon Trading Card Game Online codes, all the way up to factory sealed Pokemon booster boxes!
Ask a Professor: Mikey who is on this channel is a judge who has even judged Pokemon Worlds! He knows his stuff. He's happy to take questions and answer them for you!

Is it worth it, or not? Correct me if I'm wrong: You say these are worth $240, however, you own a business and may be getting these at below retail, with a great profit margin. However, to the normal consumer, spending $240 would still put them in the red even with these pulls. Considering what you said is the average booster box pull rate of about 1 full art, 3 ~ 5 EX's, consumers could just buy 2 sealed booster boxes at about $90 each (which would then double the ultra rares) plus have a little bit of money left for even more extra booster packs. So, is this video actually, a "Loss"? The only benefits I can see doing this is you get the extra pins, promo cards and jumbo cards, and the booster packs come in assorted and not purely one set.

Just for fun, let's maths! *deep breath* You can assume a store gets these at around 40% off cost, so let's just say $140. Stores pay as low as $2.18 per booster pack. There's 36 packs in here, so an "effective" cost of $78.50. Meaning we are shy $60 of the price if a store just purchased the packs. 6 jumbo cards that sell for $7 each (in a 5 pack on Amazon, after fulfillment fees) = $42 Pins at $3 each = $18 Coins at $1 each = $6 Codes at $2~ = $12 total: $78 So that gives us higher than average EV of the booster packs (+$18 swing). Now the gamble is the randomness. Is it worth the $18 to not have to deal with selling the pins/codes/coins plus the knowledge that you'll be getting the box average EXs? That's personal preference, to me as a gambler, I like the cheaper cost of entry into cracking the packs. BUT! I like the gamble more, it's more thrilling to know there's a chance I could lose compared to a box, but a change I could gain more. However! Speaking in a non-store perspective, I'd probably still go this route based on retail. Because $144 retail for a box of Pokemon is WAY too high. I'd rather take the gamble and walk out with some cool things to eBay. But then again, I wouldn't recommend anyone who isn't a store throw that much money at these. Not unless you're a collector with money to burn. tl;dr for a store, this would be a win, IMHO. For a non-store, a loss. A pretty big loss based on the prices of the packs alone.

Derium's Pokemon Ah okay, so I was correct! Thanks for the maths! I am running an up and coming business and I really appreciate your explanation! I also didn't know code cards were worth that much. I too get these below retail so in theory I could do this at a slightly lower scale than you but for my business (subscription box service) I make a profit just from the booster boxes. I was sitting in some chairs outside this cafe, and i had bought myself 2 steam siege packs to open, was hoping for a holo, the first pack i got a reverse rare, and i was pretty happy with that, then the last pack i got a FA proffesor sycamore and i was like OH MY GOD and there was like 4 people at other tables watching me have a heart attack XD

You know, Crobat from BW Plasma Storm, has the same effect move like M-Beedrill-EX, except it doesn't discard energy nor is your opponent paralyzed, so maybe those cards put together could be a good deck.
