Well, I didn't have child collection, not of authentic cards though... except for a few that I got from my uncle, so I'd say the 2005 DMG promo, and DPYG DMG and Sorceress of Dark Magic were my humble collection. But I'm slowly making my own now, and I'm really happy with how is coming along! That was a really great collection! You said it too, a lot better than I initially thought it'd be. Some pretty fun and old cards, quite solid!

There's is no pattern to my childhood collection. I would just take whatever money my mom would allow me to have and buy whatever wasn't too expensive. I bought maybe two or 3 packs at a time at a weekend bookstore event, I would buy the blisters with one special card on the front at Walmart, I'd buy starter decks, and a couple tins. When I got a little older I was allowed to buy cards on eBay which I only did a couple of times. I have a lot of nothing and most of my stuff is light to moderately played. I think my actual deck is missing though. My favorite cards were Harpie Ladies and other wind monsters. My all time favorite card is Patrician of Darkness, due to him being my deck leader in Duelists of the Roses.

I love seeing childhood collections. I had a binder full of vintage cards back in the day. Didn't realize what I had and just gave everything away to my cousin when I "quit" YGO. Really wish I could go back and tell my young self to hang on to it.

Yugi and Joeys starter decks were my first cards and my first two foiled best cards at that time were Trident Dragon and Gate Guardian..sucks when we moved, my cards were gone and I even had two Mirror Force in SR super pretty foils but it is what it is..glad I can get the nostalgia here on this channel

My childhood collection consists of a bunch of great cards that I, in my infinite wisdom, folded in half. Literally my BEWD, REWD, Dark Magician, and Summonsed Skull ALL have folds through them. 😂

My childhood collection was mostly cards from LOB through PGD as well as the Yugi, Kaiba, Joey, and Pegasus starter decks. After those early sets it falls off quite a bit, but I did open some boxes of FET, TLM, and some other late Duel Monsters / early GX sets several years ago when they weren't yet prohibitively expensive. (Now I'm wishing I had kept those boxes sealed, considering how much they sell for nowadays.)

My childhood collection was crazy. My brother and I would get so many packs every weekend. I found about two deck boxes full of cards and a tin full of cards recently. Some in pretty nice condition, others not so much, but those were just a fraction of what we had. Unfortunately we had to move when we were younger, and most of our yugioh and Pokemon collection were thrown out. It’s a shame cause we had so many cards. Your videos gave me some nostalgia and had me start collecting again as an adult. Wish I could go back in time and relive those younger years

Actually, I had a huge collection as a kid. My dad always bought me packs every day on his way home. I had all the OG tins filled with LOB and Metal Raiders all the way up to Light of Destruction. I played with friends, so I definitely didn't take the best care of my high rarity cards. May have some decent condition cards in the garage somewhere. But I love these childhood collection openings. Makes me not feel so bad about how I kept up with mines lol

Childhood collections are really fun to see. It's unorganized, has no pattern or logic and It's frequently in less than ideal condition. But they feel so good to see. You can feel the love put into these back in the day

I really enjoyed this video Rubin! Thank you for showing this amazing collection! When my younger brother and me where children, we got two starter decks, my brother got starter deck kaiba and I got starter deck yugi, I still have the dark magician till this day, heavily damaged, but in a binder full of fond memories. Sharing this memory (with picture of it) on x last November with the platinum dark magician giveaway of the official yugioh eu account’s post got me a mind blowing surprise, I won one of the European 1000 platinum dark magician’s ( to be precise: 0919 eu) I didn’t expected that sharing a fond memory would get me a prize like this Fool’s luck is a thing I guess, and as someone with autism, I can assure you, it strikes a lot for me 😅 Have a wonderful upcoming week everyone! My favorite nostalgic condition card I own is a 1st Ed DMG. In elementary school a kid had it and literally crumpled it up to throw away because he thought it sucked, he gave it to me for free. It’s been in my collection ever since.

I like seeing stuff like this. You collect something, you don't realize that it could be worth money some day. Then you regret how you stored your stuff. Plus I like the Nitro and Junk Warriors. I wish I was still collecting when those came out.

My childhood collection got burn on an accident of a childhood friend, the history is that I retire of playing on highschool and give it away to my friend, year laters his house burn down and sadly my friend passed away. Last year with all the nostalgia and on his honor I started to collect Dark Magicians and Dark Magicians Girls, I dont play but Yugioh means a lot to me for all the good memories of my childhood with him and his cousin which we still are friends. this video give me a lot of nostalgia, I Love your videos Ruxin, thanks so much for all the atuff you do

I still have most of my childhood collection, had to sell some of it when I started living on my own but kept the really good stuff, including the Gameboy promo Egyptian god cards, a starter deck blue eyes, and unlimited original print lob blue eyes, a blue eyes shining dragon movie promo, a Japanese dark magician girl, an unlimited magicians force dark paladin, starter deck joey red eyes, some of the master collection cards like envoy of the beginning and Hades, a couple of relinquish, kaiser glider, a 1st mystic swordsman lv4, and a bunch of other stuff.

I will say that if you do ever get a childhood collection always looks out for 1st ed LOB, 1st ed Starter Deck Yugi and Kaiba . Even the 1st ed commons are worth some money!

My childhood collection started with structure deck (SYE) and MRD booster pack, and from that pack i got kazejin, later i bought some PGD and AST booster packs, i had good collection back in the day, i was crazy for Jaden Yuki so i literally got ful rarity elemental hero deck, with all the fusions but than parents started complaining so that i get rid of childhood stuff so i was used to sell most of stuff and than i moved to some other place and had literally just one bulk of cards that weren't so good, so i used my trading skills that i had back in the day and started recovering my collection, and today it's on its peak, and next week i wait for last few cards and i will finally quit collecting i will just play goat format until it will be possible, so yeah i had good time for over 20 years.
