I opened a new Xbox Series X console 3 years after production. I threw in some quick comparisons to the Xbox One (2013) console and controller.

"Fine print details" for those curious. The GPU in the Series X is 9.2x as powerful as the Xbox One's GPU. The CPU in the Series X|S is estimated to be 4-6x as powerful as the Xbox One. Series X also has twice as much RAM and an SSD. What this means in the real world means Series X games run at quadruple (or more) the typical rendering resolution as Xbox One, as well as double, sometimes quadruple, the frame rate. Games will look and feel significantly smoother as a result. They also load 3-5x faster, depending on the game. There's a lot less noticeable texture pop-in. Textures are higher quality. Reflections and colors are more toned and accurate thanks to auto-HDR.

Hey great video! One of your questions was are the boxes different with the special editions and I can confirm they are: There is a special Halo Infinite edition which has a awesome boot sound and a special wrap with a custom controller: There is special bundled games with it where they just have a display wrap around the box that shows the game that it comes with and then the art is different on the back. Hope this helps im kinda a Xbox fan boy lol.

Sweet unboxing! Definitely keep your old Xbox One, there is actually exclusive titles that can be played on there vs. the Series X. And because they both can play disks, you've got best of both worlds.
