The reason that Chimchar looked so familiar is because it's literally just the stock Sugimori artwork. That image was on the box for Diamond, Pearl and Platinum, and has probably been used in previous cards too. I personally really don't like it when they do that. Those are, by far, the most boring cards to look at.

In my prerelease box yesterday I got Dawn Wing Necrozma GX and my promo card was Wash Rotom but no ultra prism card for me. My daugther prerelease box contained Cyrus ultra prism, Leafeon GX and Gumshoos as promo card.

The reason the Sinnoh starters look so familiar is because they're using Ken Sugimori's official art of the characters from Gen 4 with added backgrounds. It is a very common occurrence.

The reason you think you've seen the Sinnoh starter art before is because you have, it's just their Sugimori official art again. They haven't had reason to release new official art of them since the Diamond and Pearl games were released.

I'm insanely hyped for this set. My favourite gen is gen 4 and it has luxray which is also my favourite Pokemon. And it also has Cynthia and as someone who doesn't have a single N, I'm looking forward to opening this set.

Look at the darkrai prism star. Its rarety marker it looked holo as opposed to the other. Unless i was mistaken.

N, I have to prove you wrong about Ultra Prism being the largest set. It's only gonna be 2nd largest. Back in 2002/2003, Wizards of the Coast released the Aquapolis and Skyridge sets, both of which have 182 cards. If my predictions are correct, Ultra Prism will only peak 173.

About the prism stars I have a theory In a standart booster box you get like, 6 GXs, one full art and one secret rare(I don't know the exact values, my booster boxes are different, going by the pulls of this video). For ultra prism, and any future other set that may have them, the GX slot gets split between GXs and prism star cards, but since the rarity is displayed as Regular Holo Rare, this will be the case only for the boxes. Regular packs will have them as Breaks, but just slightly more common, since you were able to pull a prism star and a gx in the same pack, which iirc could happen with breaks and EX. Even if Im going the the right train of tought, I only buy cards to collect them and not even in a regular basis, so I might have understood this completely wrong and we will only know for real once the set gets release, so its gonna be a while.

Prism cards are like Prime cards it seems since the are in the reverse holo slot. Technically ultra rare.

+Epic Trainer The odd thing I can't get past is the black star rarity instead of a holo star like every other UR printed in the modern era. It just doesn't make sense. It's given the same kind of rarity marking as holos.
