Same here. I was having to hit CMD Z on the Magic keyboard to undo. And CMD Y doesn't seem to redo... Undo & Redo aren't in the Shortcuts screen.

Hi Robert, I love your videos and have learned a fair bit. One thing that really stumps me on affinity photo, 1 and now 2, is the pixel selections. Often I want to cut a person out of a photo I use the Smart selection brush with snap to edges. Looks quite good initially, but when you cut the selection out it’s inevitably quite a jagged cut out. But try as I might I can’t work out the refine selection options to get rid of these jagged edges. Could you do a video on selection and refinement in this kind of scenario? Often we don’t have the luxury of cutting out a person against some nice green screen background where this might work well! Would be much appreciated!

@@AffinityInspiration Awesome, I use photo on my iPad and I love it. All the tutorials around cutting out a selection and refining it seem to be using these perfect images where its real easy to cut out the selection. Something a bit less clean would be great. I always have real issues doing this.

Yes, I definitely would. I use an Apple Pencil 2. I know they are expensive but I couldn’t work without it now. ‘Lookalikes’ don’t work. Has to be Apple Pencil, the right one for your iPad.

Fully recommend it. I use mine all the time. Couldn’t be without it. I put silicone tips on on the nib so it’s quieter. That’s choice though.

Almost. Older version probably not, but there is a list of suitable ones on their web site. Otherwise yes, all sizes. I’m using an iPad mini 6.

If you are on iPad, it’s in Edit -> Deselect, or the X on the lower left of the screen tool bar. In Photo, under the little box icon next to the Edit option. It’s a box within box actually. Tap that then Deselect.

Some apps let you do this and others don’t. I think it’s a function of the system weather you can or can’t.

Yes, I find it cumbersome to find the photos I want to open. Sometimes I want to do it from the Files app. Lightroom lets you do it, but I haven't figured out how to get Affinity in there...
