What a day! Star Wars Galaxy's Edge is now open, and the 2019 Food and wine festival has begun! It was an experience unlike any other, opening day crowds are always super intense, and Star Wars was no exception. David and I also tried a few delicous items from the Food and Wine festival, and can't wait to go back!

Watching this again during quarantine. I have to say one of my fave parts was hearing the Epcot music. I bet you can’t wait to step foot back into Epcot and hear that music!

The montage of the friendship boat ride is great! Stayed at the beach club and boardwalk during some of my most memorable trips and that takes me right back. So much more than just a vehicle from point A to point B

We got into holding area of park just after 4am. We did merchandise first, so we had boarding group around 11 or so, I think. It had died down a little at that time.

You guys should keep some cumulative rankings of what you think of each thing you try at F&W and maybe go over it at the end - I'd be interested to know how you think everything ranks against everything else, along with any special notes (spicy, things like that, etc.). I love how fast they are getting Epcot construction stuff up..hopeful the work at the front of the park has walls down by the end of Illuminations (basically just beacuse I'll be there then =) ). Love that they're doing work a little bit at a time right now too instead of making the park look like a warzone. The chocolate sculptures are supposed to be there still, too. Maybe at the Odyssey building?

I was hoping to run into you on opening day! We braved the madness of the initial surge, but we were in boarding group 66. We walked around a bit, tried the blue and green milk (I preferred the green), and just like you headed over to Food & Wine ... the crab cake was incredible! We returned to Galaxy's Edge later in the evening to ride Smugglers Run, and the crowds were much lower. It was so awesome. Maybe on my next trip I'll run into you. 69 days and counting!

it would make sense that the outpost would have several docking bays.....docking bay 7 has food in it but who knows whats in the other docking bays! maybe we land in docking bay 5 or maybe the falcon is baked in bay 5. perhaps cast members would know these details.

My daughter has a reservation to make a droid at the Droid Depot. It says that she can only have one person go with her. We are a family of four. Is it like the Banshee Rookery where you can stand outside the fence and still see the droid building? Love your channel! I watch everyday!

Tina Brunkow The droid building experience is inside a gift shop, so you can watch from distance. I was in there yesterday and I could see people building droids, but I couldn’t get up close.

I don't think the wait for smugglers was ever at 300, those first thing in the morning wait times are just guesses set by disney, I think in this case telling guests "you cant just casually walk into this queue today!"
