Obelisk deck for me. A bit of Egyptian Mythology trivia Obelisk is not a true god, the name slifer is not as well. Obelisks were giant monuments. Obelisk could be based on the god of the earth Geb. Osiris is slifers true name. My favorite god card is The Winged Dragon of Ra. Yugi vs Kaiba. A winged dragon of ra deck representing all the new Ra support would be sick and a lost art monster reborn for an Egyptian touch. Who will beat Mariks Imortal Ra, Yugi or Kaiba? Strings is that duelist that used the slime cards.

I love the way the Slifer deck flows. All of the dark monsters with the field spell, The True Name, Draw of Fate, the Slimes. It looks like a really fun time.

I always had Obelisk and Ra, I never had Slifer so I always thought it was more rare Slifer holds a special place in my heart from the first time I saw him on that tower in the cartoon.

To answer your question SU about soul crossing, basically, it uses the anime soul exchange effect in Kaiba and Ishizu’s duel where Kaiba gained control of Ishizu’s three monsters in order to summon his God Card. Now, the card Soul Exchange allows the user to take control of one of the opponents monsters as their own, but with these god decks, Konami wanted to make a card that used the anime effect and so, Soul Crossing.

My favorite god is Obelisk. I just love how he's the odd man out, with Slifer and Ra both being dragons and Obelisk being an actual 'god'. I also love how his ATK is a set amount and he can't be targeted

I've always been a fan of Kiaba, but my favorite god card has been Slyfer the Sky Dragon. As far as decks go Obelisk the Tormentor deck has to be my favorite. All those cards in that deck are just amazing, I especially love the fact that they Fist of Fate a card, that was just funny and amazing to me

Of the two decks, I'd have to say that the Obelisk deck is most likely better, but Slifer has always had a special place in my heart and I remember getting the full set of GBI gods for Christmas when I was younger. Still in the top loaders I got them in, perfect mint condition. Waiting to get them graded soon (definitely PSA 10 material). I can't wait to see these as Ghost rares in the near future (hopefully).

I prefer slifer personally, this is because when I was young, a really close friend of mine gave me a bootleg slifer called "Dragon-Sky" and I was ecstatic, I still remember that feeling and how happy I was and how many duals it won me (it was bootleg broken and I was in 2nd grade) and how much joy the card brought me. I still have it, and even though it's bootleg, I still cherish it with all my heart.

For me, Slifer the Sky Dragon is my favorite Egyptian God monster. Love it's design and it can destroy monsters with 2000 or less ATK power unless you can special summon them in DEF mode. Figured that part out while playing Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution on the Switch.

Can someone explain to me “soul crossing” I can’t comprehend this card for the life of me. So basically i can sacrifice any number of my opponents monsters to summon a god card? Or any card but if it is a god card, I can only use 1 effect , trap or magic card for the next 2 turns. Not including the god cards effects.

Hands down, I'm a Slifer. I love dragons and during the Battle City Arc, I was impressed when I saw Seto summon Obelisk, but to see Strings summon Slifer to watching Yugi summon that monstrous beast on the blimp... need I say more?

Has any one opened the slifer deck to find the ultra rare missing foil name? I can see the name has been stamped but no ink/foil has been applied to it. Just wondering if any one has anything similar ?

My favorite God deck is the Slifer God Deck because me and my brothers all have a favorite God card and mine was SLIFER THE SKY DRAGON. I would love to have this deck to start my own God deck.
