whatsPOPpin youtube, welcome back to another video! In today’s video, we’ll be unpacking some sealed packs of Funko’s latest NFT release, Mickey and Friends!
In total there are 6 redeemables: 1 grail, 4 legendaries and the royalty. We opened an handful of premium packs. How did it go? Watch and find out!
This was extremely exciting to see that Disney is now a part of the Funko NFTs and I hope we see more sets in the future! With massive licenses like Disney getting involved, I am excited to see what comes in 2024!
Not sure what NFTs are or how this all works? Watch this video to see what it’s like to open some packs and it just might help you understand it better.
I really enjoy mystery packs so these are very fun for me and I’ve always been a physical collector for collectibles, but I definitely enjoyed unpacking these and hunting for the physical redemptions!

I actually pulled my first 1 of 1 with Fantastik Plastik! I got it screen recorded, but not an actual reaction recording! I made a short clip about it!

@@whatspoppincraze Of course man! I think I’m going to wait to get them when people have them in hand. If they do a better Disney drop in the future, I may opt for the packs.

It's the same odds even if packs are burned. The percentage chance of pulling a card does not change, only the total amount.

Sorry for any confusion, but what I meant is that with a burn, the numbers for the redeemables decrease heavily. Especially when its a 50% pack burn like this drop was & since 50% of the cards will never be pulled it seems less likely to have a lucky pull in the packs. Of course in the end it is all just luck though. 😊

Finally got my master set completed, sold my Mojo grail and used the USDC for the Minnie grail. My issue now becomes numbers and value. People will look at the grail and think "Meh, 999 isn't that special anymore" but if Droppp/Funko stickered with the actual number produced, closer to 450 when redemption happens, non-nft collectors will realize how rare it is and want it. Same with the Royalty. People will see 2500 and pass on it, 2500 is essentially a common now, but the actual number that will be redeemed will be under 500. Imagine, using the 999/2500 numbers will definitely cut the potential value by hundreds and both Mickey and Minnie should be easy $250+ each

Congrats on completing your master set! I honestly wish they would provide the actual redeemed counts on the stickers too! These are going to be some of the most limited pieces from the pop digital line. It looks like the legendaries will be no higher than 1,100 per & the grail should be under 500 easily as well. Can't wait to see the value change on the set once the tokens are sent out after snapshot!

Dont think the odds are any lower just because more packs didnt sell. The total pool remains the same, just less packs pulling from it.

When burns happen, it definitely does lower the chances at pulling redeemables & a high % of them do end up not being pulled in the end. A great example would be the powerpuff girls & steven universe drops. If you look at the stats, barely any packs remain to be ripped & a big majority of the redeemables have not been pulled. So in turn, the pieces will be a lot more limited than the original counts. 😊

@@whatspoppincraze The total pulled will be less than the total possible but the statistical odds of pulling a redeemable should remain the same. Roughly 47% of all the redeemable should be pulled in the packs that actually sold. Of course statistically it can be more or less than that, just depends on luck. If the odds were actually lower because less packs sold then Dropp would be rigging the first packs opened to have a lower chance of pulling a redeemable which is unfair but also hard to prove. To put it in simple terms, every card you open should have a roughly 1/430.43 (0.23%) chance (for this drop in particular) of being a grail and a 1/59.72 (1.67%) chance of being a legendary regardless of how many total packs have sold otherwise it is rigged. (assuming i did my match correctly)

I feel like I wasn't explaining it too well, but pretty much in short all I mean is that when a burn happens, it helps make the redeemables in a set more valuable in the end since the piece counts become even lower than they already were & that it can be harder to get a redeemable with this set since a little over 50% of the set will never be pulled in the end.
