The THX Logo did help fit the mood for the movie (even if it had a dark and evil tone to it).

This is the great VHS opening I've ever witnessed. I have a true fascination for this movie. The backgrounds (castle, forest, cottage, etc.), and Tchaikovsky's score are perfect, and the scene where Prince Phillip had escape Maleficent's castle and he defeats the dragon, Super Epic. Not to mention, I love the bonus making of documentary at the end. My favorite part about the making of is where the Disney artists talks about how they create the backgrounds to match the story's tone.

Scuttle: This I haven't seen in years. This is wonderful! I wouldn't miss it!

I remembered that this movie is on Disney plus and it's in the program Once Upon a Studio.

Sleeping Beauty is a romantic movie just like Maleficent. The THX logo would scare me a little but okay.
