Today's video is a little different than our typical vlogs. Britt opens up on how we have been feeling since getting my Azoospermia infertility diagnosis. The last few weeks have been really hard as we struggle and grieve how we thought we would start our family. Infertility is very emotional and not being able to have biological children of our own has taken its toll on us. We are strong though and know we will make it through. God has a plan for us!

This happened with my daughter-after 3 plus years, the Dr. Said-“what do you want” she said. “I want a baby, I want a family”-ok, the Dr. Said. Let’s get you a baby! She did embryo adoption, and it was successful first try! She struggled for an answer too, but in the end, she got her baby! When you are ready, you too will get your baby-there are so many options! Don’t dwell in the pain-go forward, get your baby!

You and Jared are where my husband and I were 35 years ago. We adopted two beautiful children after trying some basic infertility treatments. My advice to you would be to take your time to grieve and regroup. Whatever path you take, make sure you research and study hard about what is involved. We went into adoption without researching anything and now one of our adult children is rejecting us and very bitter about her closed adoption (that was the norm back then) Join adoptive parents groups, and infertility groups(none of these existed when we were going through this) and read as much as you can. It was still a great experience for us, but adoptive parenting is not for the faint of heart! We are expecting our first grandson with our Son and his wife. We are so excited to become grandparents!! The pain, like going through a fire, changes and transforms you over time for good. You will become a wounded healer.

I was adopted…ours was a closed adoption. I’m shocked at seeing so many adoptions today and they still see the bio family. My birth mother was an absolute horrible person. We went through pretty horrific stuff so I’m glad it was closed. I have an amazing family and wouldn’t change it for the world. My mom had 15 miscarriages and then they decided to adopt and my brothers and I were placed with them.

@@melindablunk613 I am so glad that you consider Adoption a blessing! Our son feels the same way. Our daughter, even though she had all the love from her adoptive family thinks differently. She was fine until she turned 32 then changed completely. We have been devasted. We pray that she will come around in time!

@Marcia Wright I went through infertility and adopted a newborn baby girl. Then and almost 35 and gave birth to a son. The daughter adopted is now an adult and has stop talking to me three years ago. It has broken my heart and she will not give me a reason to why she is doing this

@Lisa P I am so very sorry your daughter isn't talking to you. Mine wasn't even adopted. her father abandoned me when I was 5 months along and she stopped talking with me a few years ago and I have no idea why. I understand how heartbreaking it is and I understand your unimaginable pain. It's a hurt you don't understand and can't even describe. I'm so so sorry and you are in my prayers that she will reach out to you soon. My heart breaks for you. 🙏👍💕

Just remember, infertility is not a punishment, and you are not failures. Do not let this turn you into angry or bitter people. You are two warm, caring, loving, wonderful young people with a great support group. Your pathway to becoming your envisioned family unit, is just going to be different. Most of all, know that you are BOTH loved. Heavenly Father is still here for you, your families are here for you, so are your friends and followers. And Finn. He is here for you, too. You are not alone. ❤️

Please take time to deal with your grief. And it OK to carefully process your options before you move forward with any more big decisions that will impact your life and family forever. Move at your own pace-I know people who are offering advice mean well, but this is YOUR life. You do what you need to do. Better times are ahead, but for now it IS OK to feel sad, angry, heavy-all the things. God will be with you during this process. I don’t know you but sure would like to give you a 🤗

I'm here to tell you that there is NO expiration date for grief and anyone tells you that there is has, fortunately, never had to deal with a tragedy. I myself had many problems conceiving. I also lost my beautiful 17 year old granddaughter in a car accident 3 years ago. Please know that I feel your grief and sadness and am sending you a warm hug and prayers to you both. You are a lovely couple and I hope with everything that I have that your future will contain unending joy in whatever path it comes from. Sending love to you both.

My heart hurts for you and I can't help the tears from welling up in my eyes knowing what you're going through. But, how true it is that you can't enjoy the good in life without the bad. It's like coming back to the sunshine of Florida after being in snowy cold Utah. You really appreciate the sunshine after being in the cold! You guys hang in there and you'll get through this. Britt this was a beautiful video. So brave of you to be so vulnerable and raw. We have been through this, we also struggled with male infertility and were faced with these decisions. It took us a good amount of time to feel ready to make the decision on what was best for us, personally I just really wanted to experience pregnancy so we went with a donor. But it is a huge emotional decision and important for you to take the time and grieve and see where your heart leads you. Praying for healing and peace for you both in this difficult journey ❤

So beautifully said Britt!! Its almost like you have to go through the stages of grieving like when you lose a loved one. Jared and brit, my heart goes out to the both of you!! I work in infertility and I feel for all of my pts that come in and are on their journey of becoming parent's. We celebrate the good and throw big partied when someone succeeds and walks out pregnant and we also love and support the ones that can't continue the journey. It is such a hard thing to deal with, but I know that you Two have other options and in time will be able to decide which path you want to take and you two will be and are going to be the greatest parent's EVER!!! I think you two have done a great service in stating that guys also get infertility not just females. Thank you for that message because I never knew that a guy could have this issue. Thank you for educating me. I will never have children of my own at first due to a very bad injury I received while working and being put on medicine that could have caused serious issues as quadriplegia. When I heard that I said never would I go for that move while trying to get pregnant. I had to wait two or three years before I could try with my husband but then my age became an issue and I am almost 50 at this point without any children. My nieces and nephews are the closest I can get to being a parent.

I am so proud of you Britt…I myself needed to hear your testimony today. I’ve been struggling with my own heath issues and lost my job 2 weeks ago because I’m on medical leave after a life changing liver transplant. It’s good to feel all the feels on this rollercoaster and it’s great to express ourselves and share with others❤

Luv ya guys ❤ definitely take the time to mourn the loss of not being able to easily start your family. That is a grief you have to heal from. I’ve told people divorce is a grief that you have to go through. If it wasn’t your choice. The loss of that thought of forever together has to heal. This too is something that you have to heal from. I was happy to see a video from you guys to see how you guys are doing. I cried for and with you guys. Always thinking and praying for you guys. Take your time to heal. I am sorry you guys have been going through this pain. Grief has no timeline. Take your time, think things through. Don't make a rushed decision. I know it's hard for you both. You guys will overcome this one day at a time. As an adoptee I was blessed knowing my biological family as well as having my adopted family. Everyone is different but you guys will overcome this.

Hey Jared And Britt, I just happened to find your channel here recently, and I just wanted to say I'm so sorry you two are going through this. I can't imagine. While I don't understand what you all are going through, my heart goes out to you. For whatever reason, although I'm not a parent or on a TTC journey, nor even married at nearly 40 years old, God has placed those dealing with infertility on my heart. I've found so many just here on KZfaq. You two have my prayers. I will personally pray for complete healing for Jared if God wills that. God bless you both!

Make that best decision for you guys it will take time but you’ll know when it will happen and be the right time. Going through grief and all of the emotions is a hard thing especially when it’s everyday Finn is a Great emotional support puppy and so cute. If you need to take a break from vlogging we understand and are here for you as viewers, Jared and Britt you have been in my thoughts and prayers since Jared’s surgery.

I miss your blogs but so happy that you both are taking your time to process through your journey. I was there 30+ years ago and choose adoption to grow our family. Now I'm having to watch my son go through the pain of not being able to find someone to love and all he wants is to have a wife and family. He's now 32 years old and in deep depression and suicidal thoughts at time. Its hard to go through any hard time and also hard for loved ones to watch too. I'm praying for you and know that with putting God in control that he will guide you through this and in time make the right choice for your family. Love you both

Britt, your emotion is beautiful. You now have so many choices and I'm sure God will lead you to the right one (I think they are all wonderful choices) but taking your time is also part of The Plan. Just take as long as you need.
