The card damage in this pack is absurd....

For a set including the word Millennia in it, my first thought was the inclusion of Pegasus' millennium monsters like relinquished, millennium eyes restrict, maybe something new would've been part of this set, reminding me that goddamn we need some more cards for that relinquished archetype!

He used Kaitoptera in his duel with Joey during the Waking the Dragons arch. He never dueled in Battle City(on screen). He lost immediately to Espa Roba, who was cheating. Kind of BS the people Espa Roba beat weren't allowed back in, with their rare cards returned once Mokuba caught him cheating. But then again, this is Seto Kaiba's tournament. The rules were more of a guideline.

Bought a box. I ended up with 4 Ultras but none of the chase cards unfortunately. There is some card damage on the cards, but none as bad as yours. The Flame Swordsman cards look neat and I may make a deck.

Would have liked if they made the ancient chant a secret rare. But I'll take any reprint of it

I think it would be cooler if these sets came with reprints of desired, older, non meta decks. With all the cards in common, and a playset of every card in the deck guaranteed. Would make these box sets fill better, that your common bulk can at least be used. Rather then being a ton of unplayable cards, reprinted to fill out the set.

I opened my box today and I pulled both Bonfire and Thrust! I'm hyped af! If I can find a good deck build I might build Earthbound. It probably won't be good but I definitely wanna play a version that uses some of the Earthbound Immortals. I have several Aslla Piscu (obviously) and the whale and monkey one so it would be fun to put them to use

We have a total of 14 -ish altergeist cards, making Paul be 14$ in the hole.

There already was a mirage knight that is summoned by the TCG Dark Flare Swordsman's effect. It was pretty bad..a dead draw for the most park that had to sit in your deck as an effect monster since it could only be summoned by DFK effect. DFK was a 2200 atk/800 Def fusion of Flame Swordsman and Dark Magician..pretty weak for the cost, even at the time. It's effect was that the controller took no battle damage from attacks involving it and you could summon a MK from the hand or deck if it was destoryed BY BATTLE. DFK then was a 2800 ATK/2000 DEF maindeck effect monster. It's effect was that it could only be summoned by the effect of DFK and if it battled, it gained ATK equal to the origional ATK of the monster it battled..oh amd it was BANISHED at the end phase after any time it battled. Your opponent knew what would happen if they destoryed DFK by battle. It left the strategy very risky and difficult for the payoff of a single beatstick attack. The best use was to ram into something on your turn then attack the same thing with MK to remove it and do 2800 damage..if they didn't boost it with other cards. There was better removal and DFK was just a crap card in general, let alone a fusion. Even one tribute monsters would typically average or exceed its attack. Mirage knight didn't have any insane attack to start with, meaning it relied on that effect boost to be worth anything..but then you lost it immediatly after and it's first effects meant it couldn't be special summoned back out of the banishment pile. It was one of those anime omages that was clearly JUST an anime Osage but never intended to be playable in thw slightest. Even getting it out was a pain since emost would just destroy, bounce or banish DFK with an effect and it was a Brick in your hand or deck for the rest of the duel. It is nice to see them go back and make newer omages to the anime that they already did but better..just funny how some people will even recognize that's what they are but not that it already happened once more directly.

i had a cracked box tbf, pulled 4 ultras and a CR in the first 6 packs so i was leaving the rest, saw that hydrant super rare is like 9 pounds so i decided to crack the rest. got a 5th ultra plus the QCR 5 ultras a CR and a QCR is wild! anddd you could get doubles of the ultras that cost money? insaneee

The box you opened was about as good as it gets, but after watching the video I still wouldn't consider buying one. The quality control here is atrocious, seeing these packs get opened just felt terrible.
