Bought a Toon Chaos booster box recently and pulled both an ultra rare and collector’s rare Toon Black Luster Soldier from the same box! Didn’t realize it was a collector’s rare until I pulled the ultra rare since collector’s rare cards are pretty subtle in their appearance.

Thanks Nick for the vid! I love all of those old chaos card pulls. Growing up, I believed that BLS and CED were the most powerful cards in the game ever. I used Envoy of the Beginning and my older brother used Envoy of the End. Good times.

I know how collector rares are... but I did get a box of genesis impact for christmas last year and I actually pulled a collector rare Beat cop from the underworld. I was pulling mostly for live/evil twins cause I love them in master duel. sometimes you just pull what you want.. and other times you get surprised by something you didn't expect. I also didn't know genesis impact was a collector rare set until i opened it.

Nicholas R, congrats on getting a nice first of it's kind set! TOCH is a pretty nice set for sure by now. Also I agree on stopping with the mass produced bad products, but I wouldn't stop CR sets. I'd make them better (add more ultras per box, or secret rares) and also still put some more space between releases. A really nice opening for sure, but we still need to see another ghost DM, come on!

They should do it with collector rares like the new ocg sets. There you have in a booster box: either a secret rare or a starlight rare, aditional a holographic rare or an ultimate rare and collector rares aditional to that, if you dont have a starlight in your box. It is very cool to open these japanese boxes, because you most certain have at least one high rarity card.

I like the collector sets, if anything I wish they did more reprint sets like that. Speed duel is a great way to get reprints of childhood cards but there's nothing for stuff within the past 10 years most of the time
