Where the hell is the rest of day 1? What's the sense of televising for the public if you're gonna cut out before the full day of witness testimony, which may/may not be pertinent? Either way we're left with an incomplete story!!

Anyone knows why the use of "commonwealth" instead of DA? I thought we only used that term in Canada and Australia

Four US states prefer to use the word commonwealth over state in their constitution’s: Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Virginia. There may have been some anti-monarchy sentiment at play when the writers of these constitutions decided to use the term commonwealth.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but arent opening statements supposed to only state facts of which will be proven during the trial? That being saix, how is it the defence is allowed to literally throw proposed theories out there for the jury to consider as reasonable doubt. Did she not directly tell them upon opening, only they can conclude reasonable doubt? Imo, it's bs she was allowed to plant ideas and possible scenarios in their head of which will not/can not be proven.

Opening statements can have opinions of what they think. The evidence will show. Closing arguments can only state what evidence was shown

Just shut up. The p.o.s. deserves the chair....period. he's very well competent for Capitol Punishment, I'm from the same place he is. He went to school in Jeffersonville,IN and he is not no type of hardened gangster he's a punk that preyed on kids because he knew that shit wouldn't happen with grown men so he took advantage of little kids. Also the mother Elizabeth Wren deserves to be prosecuted herself. She allowed that shit to happen and when her kids told her they was involved in a murder instead of calling the police she calls him and confronted him about it sending her kids to their deaths. She has pictures of her with them boys holding pistols,smoking weed and everything else. She glorified that lifestyle to them boys. Instead of protecting them like she should've she sent them to the streets.
