CPU is solder on, graphic card is solder on, ram is solder on, wireless card can be changed, and hard drive is a M.2 that change be changed.
Removing back cover 0.55
Removing battery 2.25
Removing hard drive 3.50
Removing wireless card 4.10
Removing keyboard surround 4.40

thank for your video. i was struggling to open the keyboard dock. i didn't expect the screws beneath the keyboard surround. by the way, the torx are T5 (I tried T6 and wouldn't fit and T3 like you mention in the video may be too small). sadly even with a replacement battery (TM9HP) it would still not recognize or charge it :(

yes the battery thing is extremely annoying. change the battery does not mean it will work as the keyboard doesnt recognise it. i had 7 of these and sadly each tablet needs to load firmware on the keyboard for it to work so after switch it around a few times some of my tablets wont work with the keyboard anymore and some have 2 or 3 keyboard working with it

I just bought one in uk for £160 used, beautiful touchscreen, bit heavy with keyboard, but huge upgrade for me with my previous motorola xoom, got 256 ssd,currently, but will get a 512 on ebay for no more than £40, this vid will be helpful for me at some point, thanking you from Scotland

Hello Sir. I have seen your comment also in another video which you posted 3 weeks ago. now that you have bought the device I have a question. It woud really help if you could tell me which type of Dell stylus does it support? I want to buy it as well if I can find which stylus it can work with. I tried many styluses but they didn't work on this device. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for this! If you still have this model, could you let us know serials or codes are on the little plastic piece in front of the dock battery? Adding a second battery to models that don't have one by default is possible, but there's a metal counterweight instead in those vs. that plastic piece. Getting ahold of the serial code on that plastic piece would greatly help others trying to add their own batteries to the dock. Thanks!

For context - models that come without a battery in the dock have this counterweight(www.cafr.ebay.ca/itm/1792J-Dell-Internal-Counterweight-for-Latitude-13-7350-Notebook-/142052694256) - and it blocks the dock battery from sitting properly. However, skipping this piece entirely doesn't work either because it serves as the support for the touchpad, and without either the plastic piece or counterweight the touchpad cannot click.

I can't seem to open up the keyboard part. I unscrewed all the screws and unclamped the clips. I can open it a little bit but I cant easily lift the panel off like you did. Any tips?

There are 2 models of this keyboard, 1 with, 1 without battery. Are they basically the same, that you can just get a battery and put it in, or are the keyboards different, that you can't add the battery? Does anyone know?

your got the wrong item. the keyboard for this item has a battery in both mondels you probably talking about the latitude 11 not 13

No there are definitly 2 models, 1 with battery, 1 without battery. Its the latitude 7350 I have and it was shipped without 2nd battery. Dell Part Nr. with battery: FRVYX and the one without: PXWGK but I was wondering, if just the battery is missing or if it's completly different I thought you probably know before I open it to see if it looks the same as yours.

the first model number was for the battery replace the second one was for the keyboard replacement. none of them are for the whole keyboard unit

Hey - in case you still needed an answer - you can add a second battery, but the palmrest will need to be replaced as well. In addition to the battery (part TM9HP), look for part number K2V5J.

I wonder what tool you are using? As i can only remove one battery screw, the black (normal one) which removes as expected with a phillips screwdriver, the other silver ones will not budge no matter what screwdriver i use?

@@OpenMeUpTec it's removing battery screws, ur using same tool for all of them, i can only remove the 1st black screw rest will not move, they are chrome, i read online it requires a torx 5?

Okay thanks :) i just bought on really cheap but with no battery in the keyboard. So if i put a replacment battery in the keyboard i Hope it will work :) and i will have savede some box $$$ :D

i have four of these and 3 of them had a dead battery. i got a new battery but it will only work in one of them in the others it will not register and still thinks the battery is dead

I confirmed with Crucial (Micron) that the RAM is upgradeable. The preconfigured RAM is soldered but there is supposed to be a slot to add more RAM up to 12GB. For the life of me I cannot find photos or video of the RAM slot. Can you confirm? Maybe it's under the CPU cover you didn't remove? +Seph P. Sorry they got it wrong and it can not be upgraded. there is no other slot. you can contact dell and they will tell you the same

Did you say you cannot change the memory on this model? I will keep watching but I am mainly concerned about changing the battery, hard drive and ram from the laptop. Hopefully we can! I got a good deal on this I think, $475 for 8gb ram 256ssd. Its pretty solid for a 2 in 1. Love the keyboard! EDIT : Just seen your text (ram is solderd on)... ahhh! I do have a solder gun... ;-P

+OPEN ME UP Thank you for the information and quick response one last question which would be Battery 1 & Battery 2 as per the Diagnostics run by dell the report was Battery 1 was dead and battery 2 was good....Thank you again I really appreciate you responding

call dell and tell them the part number. most things arent available on the dell website
