Windows 10 had a similar feature called Timeline, but it wasn't very popular and Microsoft has depreciated it and removed from Windows 11

MIcrsooft is limiting Windows Recall to only new Copilot+ PCs with NPU and sticker from OEMs meaning it won't be available on custom built PCs or older PCs that have NPU

I can use openrecall, but it is not 'accurately open-recall' It's just a program that takes screenshots every three minutes. So it's still useless, but I was horrified when I collected the screenshots after using it. Every moment was recorded, and this was definitely useful, but it seemed dangerous. (If you can't install this program, open cmd and search for python, or install Python from the Windows Store to run it. I don't know why, but just downloading Python doesn't work. Python installed from the Windows Store runs properly. It seems that the developer downloaded it from ms store and ran it.

Have you tested Linux mint Edge (latest KERNAL) and LMDE 6 (linux mint debian edition), maybe mint will stop your hopping. Recommend for windows user by linux expert, CTT , LTT and other.

GNOEM is fav too but it doesn't have fractional scalling support (kde does) and also with less accessibility features.

I am not trying to Bash you (Linux pun) so don't take this the wrong way. LME and LMDE are great, but do not ever call LTT a "Linux professional" because the Linux snobs will come after you with pitch forks and torches. He broke POP!os installing steam if my mind serves me correctly, which is quite hard to do lmao. CTT is decent at Linux but far from professional, he's more of a bash script creator to streamline installations, settings toggles, and stuff like that. DON'T get me wrong, those are both solid choices for Distros but calling those 2 professionals just feels... Dirty. You want to see someone who is actually good at Linux? Look up LearnLinuxTV, he teaches users of all types from beginner to professional how to do things in Linux and makes them understandable and easy to follow, while not sounding boring to the point to where you're smacking your face on the desk falling asleep. Genuinely a fantastic content creator and criminally under subbed.

@@Derpingtonshere sorry my bad, but I was referring LTT a Linus Media Group not specially Linus, Luke did a good job at mint and Anthony video about switching to Linux was good. Atleast LTT/LMG is giving shoutout to Linux once a year but other don't care, and CTT confuse a lot, first he show "this is awesome" and after a year "this is evil". He done with Fedora and VLC. When new thing arrives old becomes not great for present time 😑.

@@kilObit Good but do try LMDE 6 in virtual box, It is based on Debian and you can install Gnome with a single command. Have you tried Gnome Boxes, alternative to virtual box.
