OpenShot 2.0 Preview

10 жыл бұрынTake a look at the latest development build of OpenShot Video Editor 2.0! It is still very early, but you can already see that much of the core functionality is implemented and working nicely! For those who don't know, OpenShot 2.0 is cross-platform, and will be released on Linux, Windows, and Mac with feature parity across the platforms. In fact, this development build already functions nearly identical across all platforms, minus a few icon and window decoration differences.
If you are a Python, C++, FFmpeg, or HTML/JQuery developer and would like to get involved with OpenShot 2.0, please contact me. I still need lots of help, so any volunteers are welcome to join us!!! =)

Looks great! Please no music on the next video though; I'm usually already listening to music so it's just an annoyance for me.

Hey Jonathon. Thanks for the work you've put in to this (it looks great). I'm having a problem on windows 10 I'm hoping you can resolve...or direct me to a solution. When I add a .mov or.mp4 file and play it back it loses the playback ability after clicking on forward or reverse a few times. I've noticed this only when I have the transitions tab clicked. It doesn't recover - leaving me to ultimately close the program and restart it.

I've been working with Openshot since years, and it makes me happy, to see how it's always getting improved. If it would be much more stable, that would awesome! But i have got a question: Will there be a possibilty to show audio curves in the timeline? Using kdenlive, you can see, when the music is getting louder or not. And you aren't able to see that in Openshot in the timeline. Would be a nice feature :)
