I used to fall asleep to this song night after night for months at a time. It's years later and it came to my mind today, and the soul evoking, soothing bliss that it once was, still is. I feel blessed to have had this song in my life, it is extremely special.

my mom used to listen to this album all the time. reminds me of warm summer nights. i remember it the most from this one time i got sick and i slept on a cot or something in her bedroom, and she played this to help me sleep and gave me pineapple juice. i haven't heard this album in years. really nostalgic.

Tantric ! This track vibrationally grounds me more than anything I've heard on the earth and I'm a musician. The pitch that the droning is at is very lower chakra and pulls us towards groundedness balance and humility. That's just my experience have a beautiful day friends

I'm playing this for my three month old son as he sleeps.

The CD came with the same Literature and face cover as seen on You-tube. Slide that out of the plastic protective cover. Unfold the literature. It should unfold into three sections and say "Spiritual Environments: The Magic Behind the music. It explains how the "...recordings use music in combination with environmental sounds, Brainwave Synce, 3D sounds and other sound enhancement...are incorporated...Brainwave Sync induced binural beat frequencies...The difference in frequency between two channels for example 7hz results in a subsonic wave that allows the listener's brainwaves easily to fall into sync with that frequency, in this case a Theta frequency. This results in a following frequency response of the brain and slows down brainwave activity...The main frequency ranges Anugama uses in his compositions are Alpha, Theta and Delta frequencies..." The explanation goes further but I have given you an abridged version. If you only have access to the album at You-tube I suggest you order a new hard copy from Amazon. The quality is much better. This is beautiful composition. Heard it since it originally debuted. Peaceful, meditative no matter how many times I listen. A great contribution. I play in the background when I can't concentrate on work. Changes my state.

This is an excellent CD to journey by. In case you didn't know the music has binural beat of around 4hz which makes it even better for meditation. Even if you have a hearing problem, your heart/breathing will synchronize with the drum beat. I put on so that I can JUST barely hear it. Sometimes visuals happen that astound me. I wish they would make a CD with just the drum beat and sticks. No Flute. Very distracting to me but it still works.

This is in my top 10 albums of all time.

Have been enjoying sharing this with my 2 year old daughter to help her relax and fall asleep in our new house. She asks for him at bedtime and loves to gaze at his face on the cover for a few moments before she closes her eyes and practices her breathing. So comforting for relaxation and meditation.

I stumbled across this while searching for music in a movie that I saw. This isn't the song that I was looking for, but it's not bad music. I have lots of music which I find to be calming. The movie "Midsommar" has two songs, which I've purchased. I've used those songs to make my own little two-song, playlist, score. "The House that Harga Built" and "Fire Temple", are the two songs. Perhaps people, here, will like those songs too. "Reflections of Elijah", from the score to the movie "Unbreakable", is also nice.
