That opening about the reason we practice is really on point. These dudes just give off the best vibe. Adam and Peter are hands down some of the best teachers on the internet but also seem like people that would be genuinely cool to shoot the shit with. Truly grateful for what you do

The opening of this video hit me in all the right places. Thank you adam. You're right. I'm not practicing because I want to be the best, I'm not practicing to impress anyone ( Or even a girl for that matter ). I'm practicing because I want that connection and I want to share that connection with others who are chasing it. Much love, bruv!

I can't imagine a better way to practice. Slow and repeat. I was never taught how to practice and it's taken me years to figure it out. Thanks for the reinforcement. This is teaching the way it should be.

These are the best lessons I've found. Every lesson I've seen on this channel has been amazing. Actual lessons on fundamentals and rudiments rather than 'tutorials' on how to parrot something or other. This stuff is exactly what musicians need, thank you so much.

Side slipping idea "Level 5" fits great on the guitar, 8th fret. Great lesson and nice sequencing of ideas to develop and compose penta licks. Kudos Adam

Wow that intro is so right. I kept wondering why we practice if it’s not merely “to be good” or to “present myself solidly to the work of music” which while pragmatic is just that. We practice to open up the way for that inner spark to flow. So gorgeous. Thank you 😊

Adams I am enjoying your video all the way from Ghana . (West Africa). Trust me this lesson is something else. It has really opened my eyes to alot of things. I used to ran the scales up and down in the linear fashion and wondered how I could make music with that. Thanks alot. Very happy to have this and very grateful. I guess we have to apply it to all other scales.

Wow, levels 1-4 was nice. Level 5 was so mind blowing!!! As a guitar player, I always go up a half step to Db- pentatonic, not to B-. Also, I have never gone outside on beat#2, usually bar #2. Such a useable phrase. Thanks, Adam!

Love your videos. I'm a practicing saxophonist/clarinetist who started many years ago on keyboard. Love the ideas and info available. Breaking my mind trying to develop the four-note chords based on the alt dom scale. Worth knowing in all keys - assuming a 1,000 hours in a day! ;-) Great stuff. Thanks.

I can hear the oriental flavor as these scales are played slowly. Then to imagine the steamy melodic these scales evoke at speed.

I've been messing around mostly with the major pentatonic and the McCoy Tyner ( dominant 7th ) pentatonic ( on keyboards ). Listening to and watching this, I can see and hear that I need to add that minor pentatonic to my vocabulary. And your approach to it is fascinating and insightful; thanks Adam - ( out of Hampton, VA )
