I have been playing this game since Chris Sawyer put out Transport Tycoon a million years ago. I thought I had a grasp on network design, but you take it to the next level. In the few months I have been subscribed to your channel I have learned so much that will help my networks evolve. Thank you.

Excited to learn a bit more from you on the trains and how they work. I'm pondering serving primary resources on mainlines that serve only one type of resource. Like having an Iron mainline that serves only iron and a farm mainline that serves for livestock and grain. I'm hoping that by doing this I could find a new way to play on possibly bigger maps like 2k and 4k. I'm harvesting an island so I can get an income set and then I'm gonna experiment with this scale of a network.

In short have separate mainlines serving one resource type across the map.

Hey, I'm not sure if you know this yet but the purr rails no longer act like maglev rail types. So the maglev logic trains do not reach their max curve length speed like before. Worth keeping in mind for logic counters (with multiple length logic trains) as they behave slower than normal on purr rails.
