Yes! No! He is not an alien, nor an angel sent from heaven. What is extraordinary is that an adolescent boy in some remote town in central Asia should have embraced something in himself that is feminine, and decided to unite it with his emerging masculinity. He imagined a sound and decided to commit himself to study and practice, and was willing to make mistakes, and tolerate his failures, without giving up. The thousands of hours he spent that were not spent doing other things. He had his teachers and mentors, and is always grateful to him, but no-one was saying you've gotta sing 6 octaves Dimash, or went give you a pass. He knew where he was headed before anyone else did, and he worked with single-mindedness, slowly maneuvering the pieces into place. SOS took at least 5 years, and it was only at Singer, in 2017, that everything he attempted came off cleanly. That takes such guts and courage and humility. So when people say he's an alien, they just ignore what is truly remarkable about him. He was his own creator, the apprentice to his own sorcerer, and he worked do hard. A kid in the middle of nowhere! Recognise his humanity, give him credit for being the best version of himself, and the sacrifices he made. And don't forget to say thanks to his mum and dad. I think Igor has been the best possible mentor for him. But Dimash has also inspired a blossoming of creativity in the autumn of his career, which he might not have been expecting. The love each other, like father and son. And yes, I think Igor is providing a calming influence on Dimash's sensibilities, which is good for his art, as well as his voice. I swear there is a tenderness in his piano playing as he watches his protogee. It's very touching, I think. He'll protect him too, at this critical stage in his career. Dimash is THE ARTIST. Nobody can sing this difficult song like he does. He has worked very hard to achieve this vocal range and all his musical abilities, no doubt, but the passion when he sings and the angelic voice are because he was born to sing, he loves everything about músic, and we love him because of.

If you watch his performances on The Singer, you must keep in mind that he was told over & over that he had to "wow" the audience/judges which is why so many of his songs had the dramatic changes.

Though he is not an English speaking artist, but in this particular piece of music, he delivers it so well, clearly and with life. In this performance, his physical movements and actions speak to the heart of the listening public with a deep expression of what message he would like to bring to his audience who listens to it. Much more, he gives a full force of himself every time he performed his music. And if you reflect it deeply, Dimash music does not only entertain but it is full of meaning and heavy content about the realities of human life, of which I greatly and highly valued.
