Floor Looks amazing, totally agree not worth the extra 100 to have it all face one way but honestly, don't look too shabby at all, Kinda think it looked better in the end. Anyway as always great vid thanks for the time making/editing it 👍i look forward to the next

It's actually a poorly-done floor. It's not insulated well and is highly susceptible to spills and condensation issues.

A good job well done. Personally I think that the floor is a bit dark (I used an off white tile effect - with about one tile in six being black - effect lino sorry vinyl floor in my old van, which made the inside feel bigger) but it's your van and you know what suits you best. The spray insulation on the walls looks good and well worth the money.

Now then…… of all the self builds I’ve seen you are the first not to put down battons with celotex insulation for a jigsaw. I’m on with mine and I’ve done exactly like you. Do you get inspiration from another van builds or you just like me. Don’t see the point in wasting money. 😎👍

The floors seem to be notoriously cold to the touch anyway, so I just used the reflective layer under the floor to bridge any holes & increase my internal hight

I really don’t know I sometimes it just does it haha others it’s a fluff ball, think it’s down to washing it sometimes with just water, then letting it air try and it sorta just goes naturally wavy 🙂

Foil bubble wrap has an R-value of R1/inch. But since bubble wrap is about 1/4”, the r value is about R0.25. It is not designed to be insulation. It is only a vapor and radiant barrier. And since you have it completely covered, it’s radiant properties do not function. Your presentation is good but your information provided is poor. We should be insulating our vans (and homes) well to reduce use of fossil fuels and man-made heat to the environment. You’re not sending a good message to your viewers.

@@JakesJourneyMate Nice, completely ignore the first part of what I said. I do I? No. It's we do the environment. You think you're immune to having an effect on the environment we share? Do you s*** where you sleep too? What is the practical use of "360 windows" as you call them? Why not just open the door, go outside, then close the door behind you? Is this actually way of living or is it a single-use money-grab for youtube? How is it that you feel conent with spreading this selfish, unsustainable, throw-away style culture?
