Great animation! Only two small details: 1. The flight plan of the Hercules planes was not flying over Libya and Sudan but above the Red Sea to avoid detection. 2. Eritrea is displayed as an independent country on the map but it was still part of Ethiopia at that time. Besides that, you guys did a great job! Keep on the good work!

Since then I researched the story of Israel post 1948 and come to respect her people tremendously. What you won't hear on tv is that Israel is the most democratic and fair country in that part of the world. Religion does not factor at all in health care, public services, or education. There are Christians, Druze, and Muslims serving in the IDF and in government. The standard of living is much higher than in the countries that surround them. This is a country that has done more for it's people, of all faiths, in 73 years than it's neighbors have done in centuries.

I was sucked in New Bern, NC due to weather, I had flown down the day before to make fireworks run, you see it was 4th of July 1976 200 years of American Freedom. Me, my brother and Peter B. when to an afternoon movie, "The Outlaw Josey Wales", the news had broke when we returned to the hotel we were staying at. Every time I what that movie since I pause to think about Yoni and say a pray for his soul.

We know he was part of National Security and a flying group of half track soldiers who worked the Golan area. I'd love to find out for sure if he was there. Excellent video! Just a small correction: the ma shows the Sinai as part of Egypt. Following the Six Day War and Yom Kippur War, Israel controlled that land. I seem to recall that the flights actually took off from Sinai, drastically shortening the flight distance.
