My dad was never into videogames, but this is the only game my dad and I played all the way through together. Such good memories. To this day I still keep my memory card with his save on it.

Man I remember one summer when I was 7 and my brothers were 5. We'd all stay up until the crack of dawn playing this in my room. We'd have our snacks and juice boxes as we all took turns trying to beat this on hard difficulty. I remember passing out to this song when we were all burnt out from the game and just stayed on the main menu. Good times...

Forever will Medal Of Honor live in my heart. I remember receiving it on the Gamecube for the first time, i remember storming the beach with Miller, and i still remember the countless hours i've put it into it as a young child to beat this game. Forever will this game live on and not be forgotten to me. Thank you EA and Michael Giacchino for this masterpiece. Just thank you. Thank you to the veterans who this game honors. This game will live on in all our hearts.

I know I've heard this score since 2001ish, but Michael Giacchino is starting to become one of my new favorite composers. My mind was completely blown when I spotted his name in the credits of some of the recent Pixar movies, including The Incredibles, Up, and even Inside Out. He won an Oscar for Up, and I'm sure he's gonna be up for another next year. What a great composer.
@FunnyVideoMaker779 жыл бұрын
He also has done the score for Jurassic World, Lost (TV show), and some other notable works. He's my second favorite after John Williams.
@PirateOfPlayTime8 жыл бұрын
Also for the new Star Trek movies. Sadly, he wasn't even nominated for an Oscar for Inside Out.
@mathewgodfrey15178 жыл бұрын
He was snubbed big time for Inside Out. He is rather under-rated in my opinion. Even for an Oscar winner.

I remember playing the crap out of this and MOH Rising Sun as a child. I would sit and listen to this song before playing too. My dad would always try to play and keep up with me in both the multiplayers and coop. Haha. This song returned me to those nostalgic memories and always will, them feels.
@nriab239 жыл бұрын
What do you think of other more modern FPSs in comparison? I miss single player campaigns being the focus. And playing death matches with AI.
@GIANTPANCAKES9 жыл бұрын
nriab23 I definitely feel the campaign story-telling magic is missing from the more modern FPS, I think the last modern FPS campaign I fully completed from any CoD or MoH was CoD: MW... I may have changed since then but the campaigns from the newer games just weren't capable of keeping me captivated enough like this one and MoH RS, even the first CoDs... It's a shame that the main focus of the new FPS games is in the multiplayer but I understand why they are putting more focus into it nowadays. I can't even really recall any major musical pieces in the newer games that have the power to unlock memories like the ones I have from these games. Ha

I remember the first time I played this game I had cuban neighbor who was an adult and I was very young. He knew how much I liked military stuff, so he let me borrow his copy of Frontline. Times were certainly simpler back then, but part of that came from not having responsibilities lol My only responsibility was crushing this game until I beat it

This is truly my favorite game of all time and Rising sun This game, The feeling of my loving military and playing this epic adventure of you the soldier to stop the Nazi's plan to help secure U.S victory, meeting allies,exploring new areas at a young age, loving the M-1 garand, The weapons,the fun and adventure I had with the music that drove me to love this game more then any game I have had ya I have had really great games, but this one You the American Under dog fighting to stop the evil plan going all across Europe to fight and win with music of the gods Fighting not for glory or points but for country! Not playing the games for "dem grapixs" but playing the game for the adventure of one of my favorite subjects Doing this has always looked back on the amazing adventure from bottom to top This is what a FPS should be, not excessive violence, or pretty graphics but the game,the music, The story The connection you have to the character, to you and the feeling of the greatest adventure in your life time not for glory, but for country I will never forget Rising sun or Frontline's, ever It was the only reason to keep my Playstation 2, This to me is one of the best or even the best game ever created
