As a Pilot I find it a bit on the fugly side. For what it does though and the stuff you can do with it then I would say it is beautiful!! (You tube skydiving with a car etc etc!)

Brilliant! Worked like a charm. Great work on the Skyvan, Josh and Bob, it's a real looker with the classic livery. Hoping we see that one getting used as the heavy lift vehicle for future projects, it looks like a great workhorse. :D Also impressed with Alex's parachute, that's a hell of a lot of weight to work with but it came down safe.

Nice to see your videos. I always use to wonder why passenger planes are without parachutes. I am aware that its not possible to deploy parachutes for big passenger planes, but use to think why can't the passenger planes have multiple cabin partitions fixed to the base so that the cabin partitions detach from the top with their own parachutes when the plane does a nose dive or has a faulty engine. For example. If there are 10 cabin partitions, each cabin partition can have their own parachutes. These cabins need to detach from plane base one by one deploying their own parachutes. It would be great if you design something like this using your RC model.

btw the shortening loop thing they do with the parachute cords, is called chain sinnet ("sin-it" is how I usually here it said) very useful and super simple to learn.

if it has not been said previously. the looping he did with the parachute chord is sometimes called an electricians braid. electrical contractors store their extension chords that way.

The best parachutes are on military illumination flares, they will slow a bicycle...(army kid, in the 70's they were silk, gotta be a few laying around)
