Operation Senior Prank: "Our Final Countdown"

The Laurel Spartan Band's Class of 2021 performed "The Final Countdown" throughout the hallways of Laurel Middle-High School on Friday, June 4th, 2021, as a testament to their high school experiences. John Higgin's captivating opening brass fanfare and driving pulse established a similar impact to the "Operation Band Prank" from F. J. Brennan Catholic High School in 2009.

Easy for you neurotypicals to say. I realize neither this video nor those behind it have no ill intentions, but-being on the autism spectrum-that would be a living nightmare for me. Imagine a blaringly loud high school band marching toward your classroom…and the hallways are entirely hard materials. …Aww HAYILL NAW! …But I understand if there are those that would enjoy this. Y’know, we all have our differences.

@@rosiebaybie6245 ehh- as a person on the spectrum who is highly sensetive to loud sounds, I would love all aspects of this except the high pitched drum thing. but if theyre in the hallway, not the classrooms, the sounds gonna be a bit muffled. and if you can hear it getting closer youd be able to ask to put headphones on. if I was struggling with noise id ask to wear my headphones

For my senior prank i wanted to use my trumpet to play an e over the intercom, because our bell was like an electronic sound that sounded very similar to that note. Then after 4 seconds it would turn into a song or something. I never did it though, which i regret. So uhhh to all you folk who want to do silly shit for senior prank, do it!
