imagine you are a fish and you are out of water and then a human pours something to clean you. which is toxic as fuck. your buds are dying all around you while you fucking experience the worst fucking merrygo round ride in earth before blacking out and becoming cement mix. fish genocide never looked so tasty. I feel like one of these days im gonna turn vegetarian or some shit until then meat tastes too good :(

For those who are curious about the fish, they are muddy loach. Korean people believe they can strengthen the body energy by consuming Muddy loach and eel(they look kinda similar and because both species survives well in any condition, they are believed as animal that contains rich energy) with their rich protein and minerals. Usually we use salt and wheat flour to remove the slippery mucus during the preparation. There are usually muddy loach soup, fries and spicy soup in muddy loach restaurant. P.S : Every spoon of that soup, take a shot of Soju(alchol), this is a rule.

아주 어릴적 할머니 할아버지랑 시골에 살 때 제 어렴풋한 기억으로는 간판도 없는 집이였는데 미꾸라지, 조그마한 게, 메기가 듬뿍 들어간 메기탕(추어탕) 집에서 먹을때마다 할머니는 맨날 이것만 사주냐고 땡깡부렸었는데... 이 영상을 보니까 그때의 그 기억도 안나는 맛이 기억나는거 같으면서 눈물이 나네요.. 시간내서 꼭 가봐야겠습니다.

Nah, I think it's more like indifference. They just figured out a very efficient way to make large amounts of soup. It just seems kinda shocking to people who aren't used to seeing it. Any mass produced food product that uses animals is just as bad in one way or another. But damn that soup looks good at the end there

Amazing preparation. We usually clean that kind of fish and roast it pn fire or fry or cut head and tail and cook dry with lot of spices..
