I've always had eye problems from having cataracts as a baby, nystagmus, microphthalmia, aphakia, and Glaucoma. With Glaucoma, I must take eye drops everyday!

Way back in my first bio class (8th-grade year) I did a project on genetic diseases. Specifically a specific 'strain/type' of Glaucoma. I thought I wanted to be a geneticist (work in a lab, etc), and maybe I still do. Although, after watching this I am having second guesses on what I should go into. ha

Thanks, could you possibly interview a vascular surgeon? I’m interested particularly in what will fate of the specialty gonna be? Will most of it be replaced by interventional radiology?

You spelt Ophthalmology incorrectly in the beginning.

I am looking for some help. I have one watery eye. Has been going on for 13 months. Have been prescribed steroid drops by a optometrist and 2 rounds of antibiotics by an ophthalmologist. It keeps coming back. I would like any suggestions as to what is causing it.
