Great interview with a true original of a writer. I pray that one day O&A and Jimmy will get James Ellroy in. That guy's a fucking beast of a writer and a great interview too.

I've read all his books and most of short stories in Playboy. And his earlier works like Fight club, Haunted, Choke, Rant, and Lullaby are excellent. He also has some awesome new ones as well. I recommend Snuff, Pygmy, Doomed, and invisible monsters. They can get repetitive his writing style, let's just say you can tell it's him. He always floods the book with information and things only the protagonist would know. In one the guy is a maid, and he says a bunch of cleaning tips like use vinegar.

Not liking his books, I could understand, but why dislike him? He seems like an interesting, nice guy to me.

Chuck is cool, but every book I read of his I just hear Ed Norton's voice. Kind of the same novel everytime.
