I use to work with an arse’ole like this. Dude knew everything about everyone else’s job, what time they came in. Dude knew if you took an extra 10 minutes for lunch. Guy even kept track with of how many personal days one would take. Dealing with him on a daily basis was exhausting. I’m so glad I don’t deal with that whole miserable situation anymore.
@the_beef47627 ай бұрын
I had a guy under me that did that, he tried it once and I fired him lmao. I would rather have someone who does their work right, is late here or there but dependable than someone who pays attention to everyone else's work.

I just realized that every time someone mentioned Danny’s absence or things that Danny does that he shouldn’t be doing, Anthony would IMMEDIATELY put a stop to it. Also, it wasn’t because he’s trying to stay on track with the Erock bashing. He was protecting his little buddy. I will never understand why Anthony was so protective of that fuck.

28:45 I love Erocks split second reversal about being late alot.
@jessehopson291 Жыл бұрын
I’m on Erock’s side on this one. If he is paid salary, the mission statement is to take care of what you need to take care and have it done on time. Everything else is irrelevant. These guys weren’t even able to point out any negative effects of erock’s lateness. Same with Jimmy. Jimmy doesn’t start or come in when O&A did but that was ok because they felt that he accomplished what they needed him to. Danny essentially said the same thing. “If it looks like I’m not doing anything it’s because my work is essentially done.” Yea…..and so is Erock’s. If it wasn’t they would have been able to specifically point out the things that aren’t finished but they couldn’t. They sit there and say “I needed something and when I went to ask you for it, you weren’t there.” Erock says “well what you don’t know is I already knew about it and took care of it” then the response is “ok so that thing was done but what IF there was another thing?” The point is there wasn’t another thing. Don’t talk about hypothetical problems that don’t exist. You’re argument completely fall apart at that point.

I've never been paid a salary but it sounds pretty give or take. Either you get fucked over and have to work way more hours or you get to have the luxury of getting done early and relaxing. Hourly jobs expect you to find something to do if you finish your current task, even if it means sweeping the floor. They're treating Erik like he's an hourly worker when he isn't.

@CaptanF0rever8 ай бұрын
@user-kr9cg5vc8v he was showing up (even when he was "late") at least a half hour before the show began. At this point, he was responsible for the XM show, so from 6-9 he was literally just sitting in the office and prepping stuff for when O&A moved from CBS to XM. Erock was also the archivist of the show and was responsible for recording, editing, and organizing ALL of the past shows, clips, soundbites, etc. He was the one doing all the worst ofs or at least providing all of the material to Sam and Travis when they were doing the weekend worst of shows. That stuff takes a long time to burn onto cds, which is what they were using at the time since this was way before modern flash drives and micro SD cards were used.

Creativity > clocking in on time Another example of why Opie sucks: He is one of those guys that overvalues metrics like coming in on time, doing spreadsheets, doing menial tasks, but has ZERO creative talent. @Abe Cedeefgeeyou don't need to validate your existence to me, my man.
