Lazlow stops by the show to demo and talk about 'Grand Theft Auto V', out September 17th. Jimmy and Jericho have apparently never heard of GTA before, Opie is amazed by the graphics and Anthony is in the game a little. Cool all-round.
I've pre-ordered my copy, which will arrive on release day, anyone else done this? It's gonna be so fucking good.

@@tuco1121 Supposedly due to health problems with one of his family members. Dan Houser and Leslie Benzies also left. All that’s left is Sam Houser. Without the first two, I have serious doubts about the quality of future Rockstar games.

Man that week was MAGICAL back in 2013... The game arrived here a few days late but a relative had it so we all gathered at his house to check it out and watching someone else playing it was such a callback to being a kid and sharing a controller in between lives. Mine finally arrived a couple days later and boy it was great.

The only GTA Games I played (never played any story mode, only did freeroam), GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas. Vice City was the most Entertaining from the Ambience, San Andreas was more Involved because you had Stats and your Homies would die. 3 was just a Cathartic Game, you get out your frustrations.

March 15th, 2022 Grand Theft Auto V came out today...again. *4 times.* 2013: 360/PS3 2014: Xbox One/PS4 2015: PC 2022: Xbox Series X/S | PS5 No sign of the next game yet, there has been confirmation that it is being developed which anyone with common sense could have put together but other than that, were still in Los Santos, SA for 9 years now.

I think part of the reason is that it was developed by a different Rockstar studio and not the GTA one. Still though, I thought for sure it'd come out on pc eventually like most other rockstar games have. Especially since it's one of the few GOOD western games out there. Hopefully RDR 2 will come to pc.

You could tell Lazlow wasn't taken with some of his "jokes", especially the moment when Jericho says they should add hummus gassers as a feature for the in-game strippers. And I love Lazlow's bewildered "sure" when Jericho asks if they really have a satellite that'll delete the game if it gets stolen. I apologize for being nearly 7 years late with this comment.

Is there a reason that they've given as to why GTA V doesn't have the same realistic, graphic damage modeling as Red Dead Redemption or Max Payne 3? It would be so satisfying to create a massive red crater with spurting blood in the front and back of the head of a gangbanger or biker, or hipster.

Kissai Sith Jen'ari Most likely hardware limitations.. They could achieve it in Max Payne because of its segmented levels.. Red dead also had less objects and overall things to render.. Though its bullet physics were pretty good, but not on par with MP3, which in my opinion is the best bullet physics in any game.. Im guessing it came down to having to sacrifice amazing bullet physics for rendering distance and objects on screen at a time.. Hopefully in another GTA or even another two.. They will be on a level beyond Max Payne, but in a GTA game.. Cant wait to see what R* has planned for us next!

CJ Ware It seems likely that your'e right, but given that GTA V has barely any replay value for me due to the fact that its combat system is so vastly inferior to that of both GTA IV and RDR in my opinion, I don't consider it a valid trade off. Thanks for your explanation!

I am currently in Slab City, California. 28:50 Lazlow talks about bikers and meth and "Stab City". All I have to say is, there's no Bikers out here, but plenty of RVs, Vans and Tents. The meth and stabbings is real though, but they are shooting a movie or something over at Salvation Mountain right now. The film crew brought a shitload of Sheriffs for protection. Lawless area, people just living free, paying no rent or lot fee, and doing any drugs they want. Hot though, it's May and already over 100F. If you want to do an 'Upper' in this heat, you deserve to die.
