The Opie and Anthony Show / Jocktober 2011 / The Woody & Jim Show - 107.5 The River FM in Nashville, Tennessee /
Strap in for some radio treachery on the part of one Gregg “Opie” Hughes! They start with some hot talk about Blackberry phones which moves into a hilarious song parody! We get a funny waiter story - Woody and Jim hammer the jokes home by repeating the bit! They get into some Beyoncé might be fake pregnant talk! A Fez named intern Adam is featured in the next segment! We start to get into their segment “Gender Wars”, but Opie gets some information about “Woody and Jim” that changes things.

Opie obviously knew before the show started. He gives the guy credit for his voice 5 minutes into it and he doesn't talk for most of the beating. He's usually screaming about how bad the show is.

I grew up in Waterford, NY. Went to Shenendehowa Central School District in Clifton Park, NY. Tesago Elementary school. 1997. Kindygarten. Woody and Jim were there for some reason. FLY92.3. I got a picture with them. This is my favorite Jacque Tober.

A lot of times I stick up for Opie...bcuz he was part of radio revolution and history... but to listen to him keep on shrinking away from his old college pal made me cringe. What a coward. I don’t believe Chip was ever meant to be about Opie. His buddy Florentine does the same voice on his podcast all the time. They lived together back in the day so I think Jimmy just adopted the impression and twisted it a bit

I think the difference is that Anthony can roll with a joke. If Uncle Paul was an exaggeration of Anthony, the same was for Opie and Chip. It's sad that Opie was (and still is) so mentally ill that he couldn't let a joke at his expense slide
