He should have been in movies and made a millionaire and given all the best treatment medicine had to offer throughout his career and we would have gotten some more precious years from him. Who can ever compare going forward?
@Paddy.C5 жыл бұрын
On one of the later shows, Patrice said he was starting to realise that it doesn't matter how perfect you are for a part, if you're abrasive, outspoken, and bombastic, as he tended to be, casting directors would rather have someone who's 70% ideal for the role and doesn't create a bad atmosphere, than someone who's 100% perfect but jeopardises the performances of everyone else around them. At the comedy clubs, he would do his best to haze whoever was doing their set, putting them off their stride, and trying to get them to bomb. Some clubs even banned him for periods of time for doing this. He quit 'The Office' because everyone around him was being friendly and making an effort to get along, and he didn't want to. He was also purposefully difficult onset when he and Jim Norton had bit parts in 'Furry Vengeance'.

@@Dakotaidk the kiddies on youtube take a shine to pissing on OPie every chance they get, the more context they can ignore, the better. It's pathetic lol. You can dislike a guy withouth riding his ass. I've seen stalkers that keep hair dolls of their victims that care less about a person.

If college students realized how necessary freedom of expression is, and what will follow if the people endorse restrictions on it and/or compelled speech, they would be wearing shirts with Patrice on them instead of Che.

I never listened until years later, but are they literally walking over to another studio? That's hilarious in and of itself
@reddeath707 Жыл бұрын
It was when they did two separate shows, one after the other, in separate studios. One of the best was when they got stopped by a bunch of conspiracy theorists. I'd recommend it.

Jay Smoker I actually saw the guy in person last year. He still hung out and talked to his friends at the olive tree after he finished shooting at the cellar. Didn't seem pretentious at all. More shy than anything else. He arrived and left the cellar by foot, no limosines, no nothing. You're forgetting that he's a recognizable person now, much more so than 5 years ago. You think that you won't take some distance from the public if you're being recognized 100 times a day?
@jaysmoker98499 жыл бұрын
Jacques, I'm not saying he's pretentious in regards to fans. I'm saying that lately, he's started spouting this really toxic opinions that I'd expect out of a woman's studies major, not a comedian like Louis.
