RedLetterMedia is the funniest and most entertaining channel on KZfaq hands down. Everytime I see a Best of the Worst, or Half in the Bag episode in my inbox it literally makes my day. Those guys are fucking brilliant.

I loved this era of media. I never expected an RLM O&A crossover.

Redletter is probably the best movie review site on the internet. Their "Half in the Bag" show is funny, Plinkett reviews are devastating, and "The Best of the Worst" has actually found some old school gems that I would have never seen. Plus, they kick Adam Sandler in the balls on every movie he ever does.

So glad to see Mike and the RLM guys getting more and more recognition. The Star Wars reviews are great, but there are many great Plinkett reviews for other series such as Star Trek movies, Avatar and many others. Not to mention their great "Half in the Bag" movie review series. These guys are very witty and knowledgable in the craft of movie making, and make fantastic reviews.

Those Red Letter Media guys are brilliant. I can't say it enough.

I've watched The Phantom Menace review countless times and it never goes old but what makes this funny is watching other people watch it and hear then laugh and parts that make me laugh

I wouldn't say TPM is a good movie but I do enjoy it. I really like the other two in the prequel trilogy, AOTC is my favorite.

It's too bougie to flat out hate these movies. Obviously there are serious flaws with them and the first two don't even hold a candle to III-VI, but there are redeemable qualities in them, most of which are building blocks for III (and to a lesser extent, meaning IV-VI can essentially stand on their own). I''ll post under both videos for each movie. In Phantom I don't loathe Jar Jar like everyone else, but I don't like the over the top comic relief or the fact he was used as much as he was. The pod race was alluding to the fact that Anakin was a gifted pilot that everyone talks about. And it was best to show this is this scenario, because if you didn't you'd need to do it like the end of the movie. A little kid gets into a space craft for the first time ever and and wins a fucking space battle single handedly which was goofy and retarded and didn't make any real sense. You can buy a 9 year old being a racing prodigy, younger kids than that can whip around in go karts or ride dirt bikes and the like just as good as an adult could be. But a 9 year old fighter pilot is total bullshit. As far as characters being less developed and thus no care/didn't give a shit about the lightsaber duel? Could they have? Probably, but then again I don't see how you really could've added much more with it being unnecessary. I don't really see that. Maybe if I had never seen anything Star Wars before or I was an adult seeing the prequels for the first time with a move matured cinematic palate I'd understand it. But I was a little kid when I saw them and never had a chance to be analytical with fresh eyes. The duel was really really good. This wasn't two broken down old men fencing like IV or two guys fighting with power like Luke and Vader did. It was especially good because it was Jedi and Sith in their prime. As far as the acting in 1, I sort of agree although not so why Jim thinks it IT WAS BAD. This was a fucking Star Wars movie, and besides Ewan, Liam, and Ian was most peoples first gig (or if not, nothing even in the same realm as this kind of scale). So you can tell everyone was fucking terrified and just trying to get through it the best they could without ruining things. It was a lot better by the second movie when everyone was a couple years older, they had a few more years on set and with the same crew, gelled together and felt comfortable.
