A call about a horrific local news story from someone's town inspires this call-in bit about morbid or weird local news. The bit returns days later with a Steve C intro.

*Opie loves to say that they will jump in to save a caller if they want but when it's going bad they don't. But if the caller was saying something funny and Ant and Jimmy we're rolling with it Opie would definitely jump in to ruin it right on schedule. I tried hard to not jump on that Opie Hate Train but he forces me with every listen.*

The story Jim talks about at about 17:45 happened about 15 miles from where I live. It's not even a really well known story with a lot of people around this area. There's been a couple documentaries and books about it, The Woman in the Box from Red Bluff, CA. Interviews have been done with the victim, and she almost seems completely indifferent about the whole ordeal. Almost like she doesn't give a fuck.

I would watch a woman torture or crush an animal. I love female dominance. Childhood trauma, what can I say? I’m a little fucked up.
