I almost teared up when Matt Damon said he put his mom through a PhD program when he got his first "big" paycheck... The gift he chose for his mom was not clothes, jewelry, handbags, etc. but instead education and self-improvement. He must be a great son.

as much as people like to dismiss hollywood actors as out of touch elitists, a lot of them actually come from humble origins. These three are so nice and down to earth, you can tell they haven't lost touch with their roots

@@judigemini178 Sorry, not "a fact." As we've learned from the SAG strike, the average yearly salary of a SAG actor is $38,000. 99.9% of actors are not stars. And most of the biggest stars came from modest backgrounds with no connection to showbiz: these 3, Harrison Ford, Julia Roberts, Idris Elba, Daniel Craig, Anne Hathaway, Tom Cruise, Meryl Streep, Leo Dicaprio, Jim Carrey, Zendaya, Christian Bale, on and on. Even those who had a famous parent or something -- that might get you an agent, might get you a few auditions, but if you're not actually talented and bringing something to the table, you won't last long.

Can't wait to see this film after being PUMMELED by all the hyped-up "super hero" movies that I DETEST. I also got a kick when Emily Blunt mentioned her first watched movie, "Old Yeller." That was the very first time I cried like a baby, right there in the movie theater, a very "uncool" thing for a boy to do. I just couldn't help myself.

I've seen Cillian Murphy in so many villainous roles anchored by those piercing blue eyes. I will have to detach myself from those performances because he is a very gentle, humble, and kind man. He could have been easily typecast as the villain, but his has proven he is actor with great range.
