What a privilege to get the opportunity to talk to the director and cast of Oppenheimer. Cillian Murphy (and the rest) are FANTASTIC in the film! Thank you for spending the time to watch these interviews. Again - four minutes clearly isn't enough time to accomplish much...but I did my best!

Thank you for this interview. I know the review embargo hasn't lifted so I am not asking for any plot or story details or review of any kind I promise. I already got my IMAX ticket for Friday the 21st. But I am curious to know how did you find the pacing of this film? Like does the 3 hour runtime just fly by and does the movie justify and earn it's long runtime? I am only asking this because I DEFINITELY felt the runtime and felt restless and impatient towards the end for films like Babylon and Avatar 2 and maybe the 3rd act of John Wick 4, so that was my 1 concern regarding this film.

I’m so fucking excited for this movie. As a physicist who works on the astro/Cosmo theory, I’m thankful to Nolan for creating Interstellar and now Oppenheimer. Interstellar inspired me to get my physics degree. The power of theoretical physics and physicists like Oppenheimer inspired me to pursue a PhD. No one other than Nolan can translate our science in such a profound way. It’s important to understand what great minds like Oppenheimer, Einstein, Hawking, Schrödinger, Heisenberg, etc experienced in order to make contributions that changed the way humans interpret life in the most fundamental form. We are dictated by our drive to contribute to science, and in cases like this, scientists get wrapped up in morally questionable projects. Science and progression is never bad, it’s humans that find a way to weaponise it.

How lucky to do your job Tara! I've been trying to contact Mr Nolan for an interview (I'm writing a book on his cinematography) and it's SO difficult to have an answer from his publicist! Plus I'm an Italian academic, she probably didn't even show my letter to Chris! So thank you for the clever questions you ask him so we have his answers...!
