I have taken a history course that talks about topics of the Manhattan Project, the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the deadly effects from the nuclear radiation that can do to women with unborn babies that turned into “Jellyfish Babies”, and the moral consequences these weapons will bring to the world. To see the perspective of Robert Oppenheimer, played by Cillian Murphay, is pretty much one of the most crucial moments that is most known in WW2 history that will blow people’s minds. That line “ Theory will take you only so far” are the real facts when you are physicist or someone who understands mathematics. It can be good to achieve amazing things but very frightening. As a fan of history and all of Christopher Nolan's movies, I am hella excited to see this movie!

This looks sick! Kinda made me emotional. I agree, heavy Interstellar vibes.

The Cinema only trailer before Avatar Way of the Water in IMAX they show clips of them speaking of how the bomb could ignite the Earth's atmosphere if it goes wrong. So yes... There was a lot riding on it. More than most people are aware.

Nolan didn't detonate a real "nucyalar" bomb and he also didn't detonate a real nuclear bomb. Had he made any attempt to detonate an atomic weapon, he would have been arrested.
