Oppo have done an amazing job with this, one Frankie. It's pretty much the total package 👌👌. I love the design, it's soo original in how the Camera module meshes into the back like that. Stunning! Superb review buddy of a, superb phone😊👍👍✌

nice review my friend!!!! very few drawbacks found on this phone at this price range: 1) Only 2x optical zoom 2) Only 1080p@30fps video on front camera 3) A little bit Heavy & Slippery 4) 80W charging in a world of 120W 5) Oppo Find X5 Pro Dimensity model has no MariSilicon image processing unit good bye Xiaomi!!!!....bad year for them...Oppo & RealMe are taking the lead this year!!!!!

Sure you can argue with those, but honestly this phone is not any more heavy or slipper than any other flagship. 80W is more than fast enough for me 😅 1080p front is just ok, but the selfie quality on this phone is SO MUCH better than the results I’ve seen on those other phones, and finally 2X optical is a bit weak no doubt, but I’ll take the main camera results of this phone than some crappy inconsistent main shooter with some useless 100x zoom I’ll never use. Sum of its parts, this phone is just fantastic.

@@samson4415 this is a bad year for Xiaomi...the POCO X4 Pro and Redmi Note 11 series were failed launches...the Xiaomi 12 series seems no major improvements over Mi 11 series.... only the Redmi K50 series seems getting some attention...the real problem is the mess in the naming of models for each sub brands and markets...the same device has at least 3 different names (China, India & global markets)...releasing many variants of the same device with different names is confusing buyers!!!!!!

@@anelmoreno8007 They fixed almost all the bug in miui 13, I am using it now so I know. It is so smooth, in case you were to mention about video in KZfaq, they were using cn version. Global version is much stable which I am using. They add on antenna which is very big deal because I work in underground so there isn't connection, I sold my s22 ultra and xiaomi 12 Pro have no issue in underground. Xiaomi able to capture night yet Samsung call new whole kernel of night photo don't seem comparable to xiaomi night mode.

Stabilisation on the front cam is far from great. Also you were moving very slow for the main camera test. From what I saw the gimbal stabilosation needs still some work and I got better results with the Find X3's EIS

Great video Frankie. I’ve just bought this one. Liking it a lot so far. Every phone seems to be a compromise in some way - it’s the zoom with this but it’s good enough for everyday use. I actually prefer MUIU to ColorOS but I’m getting used to it. A lovely premium flagship.

Hey! Mine is called Joby Gorilla Pod, I bought it the Apple Store. But you can find others similar to it for less! Maybe check Mong Kok compute center or those places for a similar one

IV had this since release in UK on 24th march but the phone is stunning but no update so far spoke to oppo They said there will be one soon I could not pass on the deal of pre order as you get free watch Kevlar case wireless charger and earbuds £1050 my first oppo coming from Samsung and no complaints so far

218g and only 2x optical is a no for me. I'd rather go for something like an S22 because it is less than 180g and has a 3x optical lens. I just wish other chinese brands do something like that as Huawei Mate 20 Pro did it.

How's Oppo's software support, as well as, network connectivity for us in the US? Is the bootloader unlockable; is there a "global" rom available with Google services?

Software support seems excellent, connectivity for US I can’t confirm tbh, but in Hong Kong I totally am full 5G at all times. Bootloader? I haven’t rooted a phone in like 5 years now 😅 but yeah this is a Global ROM with full Google Apps support

I've just bought this. Coming from the s21 ultra and X3 pro before that. Firstly I don't miss the optical zoom, I only used it a hand full of times. I much prefer the stronger wide camera. The main sensor on this is fantastic. Legit incredible... The battery life is just ok. The speakers decent , as good as other similar phones. The build, feel in the hand is unbelievable. It's outstanding. The speed, well yeah it's too fast in a way , off benchmark results . And battery life is better than the X3 pro and on par with s21 ultra...

No other phone I have ever tested has taken a better ultrawide of that building at night, and the front selfies are terrific. The camera is plenty good.
