This is my final take on the OPPO Reno8 Pro 5G after using it for close to 2 months. With the MariSilicon X NPU from it's bigger brother Find X5 Pro, has it now got what it takes to fight in the flagships? Let's find out.

Oppo did not include a memory card slot for this one. 😅😅😅. Even a hybrid one will do. And if they also include an ip rating for this one too.

IP rating is there. Reno 8 pro is playing in the leagues of Samsung S22 , iqoo 9 pro, oneplus 10T, etc league and its currently the trend nowadays to remove memory card slot

No 4k 60fps, sub-par wide angle camera. Other than that it is almost the perfect upper midrange smartphone. 🤓

4k 60 fps you can still manage with Gcam. Ultrawide is decent I would say. A perfect differentiation from it's flagship(find x series is one of the only ones to give same resolution and sensor for ultrawide). A bit higher resolution would have been better though. Like atleast 12mp would be better, 8mp doesn't justifies its sensor capabilities

Snapdragon, but in the end its all came to image processing & camera hardware since Pixel with different chipset still can process good image quality with both snapdragon & tensor chipset

yep it does. Even in Oppo's A-series there's beauty mode but the camera and performance sucks badly on A-series

Nope. Not for me. 1) Too big for my hand. 2) Too expensive for a mid range phone. I'd rather look into Asus Zenfone 9 but unfortunately it's not coming to Malaysia.

Lame front camera video resolution (1080p), lame ultrawide camera (8 MP), lame macro camera (2 MP), and priced similarly to Samsung S21. No, it's not good enough to be flagship. It's waaaayyy overpriced, as every midrange Oppo phone does.
