i have had so many smokes today. And i have eaten all of them with baraka 🤣

Call me crazy but any fighter or kameo that appeals to kids, scrubs, has a repetition of being annoying and cheezy, I tend to avoid using. Maybe I just like the challenge or hate having that reputation of using idiot fighters designed for COD kids. So I avoid using Smoke, Reptile, Sareena etc. I just feel dumb and embarrassed otherwise.

@@roof1975 you not the only one. I refuse to play sub zero, raiden, and smoke, and I refuse to use sareena kameo. Easiest characters in the game by far. Sub zeros just run away and spam ice clone the whole match but that is his whole game plan every mortal kombat and raiden and smoke are s-tier but I could be wrong considering the game just came out. But when those are the only characters you’re playing against and everyone is using the same kameo(sareena) that says a lot. I’m maining nitara, mileena, li mei and trying to learn reiko and ashrah just to add a lil variety

@@Ninja32501right now i know how to do two combos or more with everyone but my favorites right now are raiden , smoke , subzero , scorpion , reptile and baraka. But everyone is fun and good on my opinion, i do get what you mean with annoying subzeros and smokes. I actually play them smart and do combos not just spam lmao

I'd say after am hour or so of labbing your primary combos and punishes, jump into kasual. You won't win a lot but it will help you see what you need to practice. Good luck brother 🎉

All you really need to know for smokey is his main mix up strings and his cancels, and when to do which specials when tryna catch people off guard

It's called trash talk, not everything is toxic.

Think you can select different skins in kustomization, so they will randomly switch inbetween fights

highlight a skin or palette as favourite then go over to the option that says "randomly choose favourite"

If you dont Wanna read, the point is some characters need specific kameos, but most are fine which is sareena (probably the best kameo) and struggle with shujinko, anyways Best kameo for now is probably sareena. Not that she's always the best for every character, there are still cases where there is a clear choice (ex. Kano for johnny, no other kameo offers kombo extension, projectiles and pressure to johnny as good as his) but most of the time sareena is too good to pass. The projectile hits 4 times and gives you ample time to extend kombos if it hits or to chip and pressure if it doesn't and she has the meter drain move aswell. There is no real worst because of the synergy, but if your character needs a kameo to compliment his lack of something you better not pick shujinko. Hes not bad but hes harder to use and to get the most out of him you need to have extensive knowledge of the moves hes going to copy and always get him out when you can to charge him. Im not very good either, but If i had any tips for you, try to use/master the smoke port cancels and his mix up game with his attack strings like B234, and F/S324 and use lots of throws

The way it clicked was me was to input your string AND the vapor before the first string finishes. That way you have all the time in the world for the cancel. Also wait until you see smoke turn into smoke (I lol'd at this😂) before hitting the cancel. It's much easier to do this if you get the first part down. To break it down a bit more practice just getting the vapors to come out consistently cos that bf input can be tricky. Once you have that down practice the cancel on its own as well. Then combine both. Hardest part is resisting the urge to hit the cancel immediately tbh. Once you learn to wait it out, it'll come so much easier. Good luck!

When you boot up the game all the character should be there for you to look at!

@@Dennis-gy7xr Atleast I know where the characters are🙄 you need to ask people to show you where a very obvious game feature is. It’s in the kustomize tab under fighters, that’s where the roster is.
