There were three groups that held religious and political sway over people in Jesus’ day: the Pharisees, Herodians, and Sadducees. Normally they were not in agreement about much, but there was one thing they were united about-their opposition to Jesus and His ministry. Sadly, the same three types of groups are working today to undermine the ministry of Jesus and His True Church. We must be careful to avoid this modern version of this ungodly influence that takes the form of: religious piety, political correctness, and liberal theology.

Exactly. So often people are caught up in popular movements they don't understand, popular political candidates they know nothing about, or even adopt contrarian takes of the "latest thing" all because of their ego .

Nice speech: the original church did not have money, weapons, ranks, buildings, power or influence of any kind, neither political nor religious. Being a church of humble, laborious people who sought for salvation in the midst of a violent empire, was its natural state. Such a church relied on Jesus alone, to enter into paradise. What does history tells about the church that derived from those times? Now, church opposes church, church laughs at non believers, church became a bank, church deprived and abused people all over the world, taking their lands and leaving them alone with the book.

You are so right… You’re talking about fellow sinners who have corrupted the word, often for their own selfish purposes… Jesus was sent to the cross by corrupted religion… so religion in any form will not save a single soul… only focusing in Yeshua - who leads us to the father… only He will lead us to eternal salvation… be blessed friend and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus…🎉
