On another story she told about this store, Opera had the handbag/purse in hand & the store wouldn't let her buy it. They said they couldn't sell it to her. She needed to have the store owner/manager take the shop clerk aside and deal with it one on one, or correct the young woman's attitudes or treatment of her customer. Retail managers are obliged to tell customers the price of an expensive item, regardless of how wealthy they are: she knew who Oprah Winfrey was and knew she was very wealthy: she would have said the same thing to any famous white multi-millionaire.
