I once saw a leaf that looked like a Golden-cheeked Warbler to an insane degree. It was crazy, will never forget it.

The worst is when I fail to look closely because it is a "leaf" and it flies away... Happier chasing leaves and plastic bags :)

Haha yes! I was leading a walk earlier this week and we were looking for an Eastern Towhee calling from a pine tree. I kept watching for movement in the tree and after a minute one of the pine cones flew away!
