Optimus Overkill (a custom build 1 of a kind Semi Truck) is a "10X10X8" This means Optimus has a total of 10 Wheels, is 10 Wheel Steer capable, and 8 of the wheels are under power. Soon, when the new motors arrive, and the gear for my powered trailer MOA Axle (motor-on-axle) I will install dual Fusion 2300kV brushless motor and esc combos, with 20T pinions.
This will make all 6 of Optimus Overkills motors equal, and create a "10x10x10" vehicle. At the moment, the rear trailer motor (soon to be dual), is a 30t Brushed, with a HW 1080wp ESC. Yes, the trailer is powered off of its own battery, but is connected to my main transmitter.
The tires look like they are being turned too quickly on my trailer - but the tires are from an old rock crawler that had an overdriven front axle, stretching the rubber to always look weird. New tires are in transit to my location, with matching wheels for the trailer.
Today I am launching a ship for patrol in our backyard waters...

Looks cool😍😍 i used to drive a trailer with a drive axle trailer(hydrolic) in europe i had a 4x truck and a 6x4 trailer. You can power it when your below 30km/h offroad with a button on the dash. The 2 rear axles were also steering(hydrolic/electric) and the front didn't but was a lift axle. With that truck i would never get stuk offroad even with 50.000kg total wheight (thats the max here on 5 axles) all the axles were single tire (same as your truck) exapt for the "drive" axle. I really miss that truck😢

Imagione them MOA setups with these new 2in1 setups... throw a couple fusions under there lol, your trailer will be pushing you! UNLESS.. of course you put 3 more in overkill itself, if anything a space saver cuz I know you're already rocking serious power.

I really like that trailer is awesome. I live in Utah and they run a trailer similar to those. The trailer actually kicks to the side and has a snow plow blade on it. Just thought it might be an idea you might be able to try to do on that truck. This is one of the coolest builds I've ever seen

To cool love how well it is working out for you. And I lost some of my Fresca when you tried to lunch the boat and she was high and dry became the river was not deep enough 😂! Loved that so much for an off road go anywhere rc. You can pull a boat the the river but you can't make her float off the trailer. LOL. Next time we will have to use the crane. Thanks for sharing your videos with us.

Both the US and Canadian military experimented with driven trailers. The were called land trains I believe? kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gdaHqZlp3aunoo0.html Maybe the RC Godfather could try to create the first RC land train. Couldn't help but notice your trailer 5th wheel could be optimized by moving it to the end of the trailer to the front and trying to move the plate on Optimus as far back as possible. Definitely helped on my RC 5th wheel trailers. (offroad military)

I think what throws me and maybe a lot of others off is the fact that we can’t see just how wide that thing is. It seems so narrow sometimes. (That’s what she said). It looks to handle pretty damn well. Just need that last axle up and running and a shit ton of mud. 😂

The LCM3 is worth every penny! It's also 1/16 scale and fits a heng long Sherman perfectly. The ramp is controlled by RC as well, so you can drive up to the shore, drop the ramp, and drive a tank off.

Hey, love the content, here’s an idea,….just an idea,….I think you should extend an offer to some of the popular rc/maker/science KZfaqrs to come up to the compound and stay for a few days to collab and make content. People like: Peter sripol, William Osman, Allen Pan, the backyard scientist, Cody’s lab, Tom Stanton, projectair, rctestflight, rclifeon, tail heavy productions, etc. make it an annual small event like thing maybe during the “slow season” of KZfaq. I dunno, would be awesome to see not gonna lie.

Hey Medic? I have an E Revo 2.0 with a hobbywing ez-run max 5 combo running on 8s with a 39 tooth pinion and 46 tooth spur and can't get above 60 mph cuz she still has alot of torque left and wants to wheelie at 60 lol I'm pretty sure I have it geared for over 100mph but I'm not sure. I kinda want to go to the 1100kv motor but idk... do you have any opinions on that? Overkill on choices or have I not reached that far outside the box yet?
