They know people still would do it. People's ego gets hurt when they are told they can't do it. Especially when it comes to winning in anything or making money. I've seen many going bankrupt due to this attitude. But yes, these guys are genuine and explains the fact well.

I was the first victim of the freak trade that happened two years back when SL Market orders were allowed. I went from 5k profit to 40+ k losses in just one or two secs. I was not knowing what happened as the charts were not showing if the price went really went there and that evening I came to know about this freak trade.

@@SivaChidambaram15 - Earlier, we had SL Market orders which would facilitate us to put Stop-Loss at a particular price (say 100) in Options. If the ltp touches 100, the the SL would get triggered and our position would get squared-off at the available buy/sell bid price. So as soon as the SL gets triggered at 100 if the buy/sell bid is not near to 100 but at 400 or 500, it gets squared-off at that price making huge losses but after some time the ltp of the Option comes back to normal traded prices of 100 in this case. This could happen as a result of putting huge number of orders by people who trade in huge quantities and we end up loosing. Later NSE has stopped having this SL-Market orders in Options.

I personally felt controlling emotions is the biggest thing in trading.....I have control over fear of loss but when profit comes I can't resist to stop myself and at the end I come out with loss....Lalach Buri Bala hai😂 These days working on LALACH.....

Why would anyone use a stop loss on a long stradle? The losses are already defined. Having a stop loss is meaningless and quite detrimental to the trade itself.
