Thank you for your video. Your examples are "non assemblies'". I have configurations available to me but haven't decided how to best use it, yet. I design tooling sets for a very large hot forging press. My designs are die part assemblies with about 25 parts each . I keep copies of parts with and without certain features all in the same assembly. I have separate design projects for different type of parts with individual designs for different sizes. I use sets to group a first pass setup, using parts a,b,c,1,2,3 from a second pass set up using parts a,b,c,4,5,6. Q1: How scalable are configurations? example, are configurations limited to a single design, or can they bridge designs and projects. Q2: Do you think it would be best practice to design from the top down with configurations in mind ( as I suspect in my case) or to try to shoe-horn this new feature into my existing designs and not fully implement configurations.
