Thanks for the comment. I agree, not a fan of the echo and early 50's reverb. I try to keep the sound as flat as I can when possible.

How was this recorded from a radio broadcast in 1943? On tape or on chellack records?

Most radio broadcasts were saved on the 16” electrical transcriptions. In he late 40's, early 50's they moved on to reel to reel tape
